I haven't gave a shit about wrestling in years (you know, me being older than 8 years old and everything), but I noticed a weird trend of woke WWE superstars. I'm old enough to remember the 2000s with Mick Foley being a spastic anti-Bush liberal during the 2004 election, but last year I've seen woke tweets from current wrestlers virtue signaling. I don't know his name, but at the height of the St. Floyd riots of 2020, someone I'm friends with retweeted some random WWE superstar's pro-BLM tweet, so I checked his profile and it was like 80% various liberal politics and retweets of Obama – with very little of it actually relating to wrestling.

Because wrestling became more like tv soap drama rather than the old carney shit. Everyone acknowledges now that the wrestlers are basically just actors.

The catholic sex abuse scandal was not just solely due to kids getting raped but the lengths even the highest levels of the church went to cover it up and for how long they did.
