Gotta ask here what Spoony's so ingrate about.
Is this concern trolling? It fucking is.
No one sane would ask that question seeing how he treats his patreon supporters, his family, his orbiters, his friends, and his ex-partners who have not a good thing to say about their experiences yet Spoony feels he's the victim in everything.
It's been like 23627212 pages of this topic since Spoon did anything worth talking about so anyone still contributing to this looks silly when complaining about him being a waste of air.
Ask Null for a broom, janny aspirant.
Hey @Ita Mori how many Yankees cross the border to Mexico and beyond to earn a living by cleaning pools and toilets?
A fair amount of yankees do move to California and Texas to do just that, ask them.
This is getting out of hand again so a friendly reminder you're not Noah's relative who will have to support his dipshit ass in the near future.
Backseat janny'ing. Cringe.
Here's a thing to all smart asses down voting me.
There is a guy Daigo Umehara. One of the best, if not the best, players of Street Fighter. He one day decided that playing SF doesn't feel fun anymore and become a way of living and paying bills. So he drop the competitive gaming and started looking for regular job. Thing is - he couldn't find any. Most of his resume was non existent. It was just a ladder board of all his appearances in fighting community for all the years and from what I recall he only had a one job offer - as waiter. He couldn't afford anything so came back playing SF even though he despise this game from this moment and stick to it just to have a steady income.
There is interview on YT with him when he describes he is fucked. No education. No experience. Just hikikomori.
Comparing Daigo to Spoony is like comparing a $200 steak to an Applebee's steak.
Daigo became a GOAT, Spoony lucked out on being an early youtuber. Spoony in his prime is nowhere near an achievement as being the #1 player in the world.
Daigo grinded 24/7 to achieve and maintain his success, Spoony expected to never have to apply himself once he became internet famous to a bunch of neoliberal college kids.
Daigo never burned his bridges with the industry the way Spoony did nor did he believe himself to be on-track to a bigger industry like Hollywood.
Daigo adapted to the times, Spoony never up'd his gear or presentation and was thus replaced by those who did.
Assuming your story of Daigo is true (I've never heard him say he hates or resents dedicating his life to SF), Daigo had enough common sense to realize that his meal ticket was staring at him in the face, so he dusted his ass off and gave the masses what they wanted, and now he streams and makes cushy living riding on his days of being the greatest player to ever touch the game.
Spoony can't even work up the effort of turning on a webcam and saying hi to his orbiters, who would be thrilled to see him return and just shoot the breeze. They are incomparible because they have completely different work ethics, common sense, and reached different milestones.
What a 40-year old gamer with no job experience can do?
Learn a trade. 40 is not some bed-ridden old age.
If ex-cons who did 25 years can make a comeback, so can Spoony.
Are you aware that most of YT gaming content is for audience <30?
Spoony's audience will never be teens. It'll be millenials and early zoomers who will use the internet for life. He will always have a crowd willing to watch him either out of nostalgia or because his humor and place in time is the same as theirs.
If the NC or Angry Joe can still entertain teens, so can Spoony.
He have nothing in common with his peers not to mention with new generation of kids watching stupid shit or playing let's plays in background.
Then learn to adapt, for fuck's sake. It's like you expect success to be stress/work-free.
Your own example, Daigo, learned to adapt to SFV and connect with current day FGC audiences.
Just say what you really mean; that Spoony is too retarded and lazy to be self-sufficient, and stop hiding all that behind a veil of empathy. He had every opportunity to make it work, and he still does, yet he refuses to put any effort into it. It's why we laugh. He wants his old life back but wants it to happen magically.
He wants April back; but rather than getting back in shape and trying to re-establish contact with her, he mopes and wishes April contacts him and returns home so she can pay off the bills and do shopping/maintenance like she used to.
