He may be a drug addict, perhaps even a dealer, but I think Nader is quite out of her league (based on looks alone). Bibi was a catch, too, for Chantal - and that’s a couple hundred pounds (and a uterus/multiple clots/half a head of hair) ago. Still, Nader is a step up for Chantal in the superficial department, and that’s all she concerns herself with.
Her $90 TV she brought to his place went missing within a couple days. He hasn’t taken her out anywhere, and the only investment he’s made financially in the relationship has been small amounts of stimulants - probably a total cost of $40, if that (depending on whether he’s an actual plug or just a junkie).
Certain kinds of fat chicks, who are financially used by men purporting to be their lover/BF, are called vics, where I’m from - not sure if that’s a universal term, but it’s well-suited for Chantal. A Vic is a fat narcissist who is easily taken in by attention and lovebombing, shedding their friends and family (or at least their opinions) just to keep her new man, and without the reticence to do so of a normal person.
Once she’s alienated anyone who could have posed a threat to the game, he runs it - scamming for money, a car in her name, a lease, etc.
The drugs are a minor player but a powerful one. Lowered inhibitions plus alienation in one fell swoop. She’s playing a risky game, because any scammer who did a cursory Google search would be convinced she has liquid assets at hand (no house/beater car/no kids/partner - where could she spend it all?) I’m particularly interested in whether she’ll share with her viewers that she co-signed for a loan or whatever, as I don’t think she has the sense to be mortified of that kind of statement. I think she’s going to get herself royally fucked.
Man, Part Three of the Chateau Chantal series is getting dark.
