who cares if the remnants post hypothetical war in the unlikely case palestine wins happen to make it work for themselves there it leaves two threats neutralized vs further entrenching israel to bring down everyone else with their bullshit.

I don't lean one way or another, but I've noticed that Boomer opinions on Israel are very rarely an informed. I think their brains were dosed with massive levels of oxytocin during the formative years because "Christian Nation USA Defeats Communism And Vindicates Holocaust Survivors."

Edit: even if Israel didn't follow through with that, it would still get milked as Annuda Shoah for the next century. And there's a non-zero chance you'd get drafted to help Greatest Ally take it back.

nope it will continue, Bible is pretty clear, Israel is a heavy stone to the world. but also states if you bless Israel you'll in turn be blessed, and if you curse Israel, you'll be cursed. History shows that the empires and nations that went against Israel are either destroyed now, or are literal shitholes. Eventually there is going to be a time where the entire world is going to be going against them, which seems to be happening more frequent. around that time all the Jews will have gone back to Jerusalem. I've heard Jewish people even say recently that they have an urge to move back to Israel, and they don't know why.

thats a different issue than which side is "better" or "more civilized". obvi israel has the technology and power to keep from losing the fight in varying different ways. also that only works on people below the age of 50 when its against white people.

Well the land of Israel effectively contains many important historical religious items, including the Holy Sepulcher where Christ is believed to have been buried after his crucifixion. Christians at this point generally have more cordial relations with most Jews than they do with Muslims and in essence see the Jews as benevolent caretakers of holy Christian sites in Israel.

With Muslims I think there's some fear and apprehension that they may deny Christians the right to visit those holy places like they did sometimes in the Medieval Era which helped spark off some of the events of the Crusader era and Muslims haven't been above desecrating holy Christian sites for their own purposes like the Turks did to the Hagia Sophia after they conquered Constantinople.

And I've mentioned it before in past threads regarding some Christians being weirdly obsessed with the Jews in Israel but it falls back to the spread of Christian Zionism which is based around the belief that the Jews returning to the Holy Land in 1948 is part of Biblical prophecy, that the Jews being there serves as a preamble to the return of Jesus and the end of days as foretold in the Book of Revelation. It's generally ascribed to Protestant Christians, it's become relatively large in the US over time and I'm not sure about how the idea has been spread among European Protestants.

During the 70s and 80s, Israel launched a campaign where they invited Baptist/Evangelical pastors to visit Israel, see all the good holy sites for free. They also took that opportunity to provide those pastors with edited religious material, while also bribing the shit out of them. As a result, Protestant Christian boomers are obsessed with Israel, and view its survival as some kind of divine mandate. They genuinely believe that a country created in 1948 is critical to the events outlined in the Book of Revelations more than 2000 years ago.

Why would they have to provide Evangelical pastors with "edited religious material" when Evangelical pastors believe Sola Scriptura? What could this material have been, precisely?
