Plagued Waifu culture - Cartoon fuckpillows and the men (and women) who love them

Secondly, I wouldn't call it a "beneficial" temporary cope mechanism for the majority of people in that sub. Not when every other day there is a new tirade on someone being bothered by ship art, a waifu being in a relationship, having a crush on a character in canon, or some other triviality. Then on the days when their not doing that, their discussing channeling, tulpas, how to interpret their own hallucinations, what should I tell my therapist/should I go to a therapist, how do I tell my parents their bloodline ends with me and so on. It's a cesspool of adolescent problems, that, compounded with their waifuist status and obligatory imaginary lover exercises that is making these people neurotic and irrefutably worse off then they would be had they moved on. Even in the situation where a person, or a small group of people, in r/waifuism aren't contributing to this I would argue those posts would be mentally damaging to anyone to read as a spectator, much less as a member forced to tolerate it.

I'm gonna offer a solution for people who still remain waifuists despite considering the previous points: escape and make your own communities with a small circle of friends who bring out the best in you. The fact is, r/waifuism is haphazardly strung together, has a name snipe that makes it popular as a sub for waifuists, and is poorly managed, thus it's a mixed bag of some tolerables, with mostly degenerates. It's only use is as a psychology case study and maybe as a hub that branches off to other communities. You'd be better off blazing your own trail. All I ask is less emphasis on imagining fantasy scenarios, and more into actualization. In my opinion, the only love worth having is the kind that translates into action and results.

I want to see giant bronze, ivory and marble statues, beautiful works of art, writing, projects, digital or otherwise, that demonstrate this love you claim to have. I'm tired of seeing the same comically lousy crap, it was cute and funny back in 2016, it's just sad now.

funny thing is he tried to rejoin multiple times with different underage waifus but instantly gave himself away with his unhinged essay padding writing style

i don't have the means to do that considering i am not in there anymore. I check up on this thread from time to time and saw his name, much to my surprise. I am sure one of you has the discord archive and has the ability to press ctrl f since 90% of his posts were psychotic.

maybe I am putting too much faith in the abilities of those in this thread, considering it's now primarily a place for waifuists to bitch or listen to Sonders insane ramblings. plagued tag for a reason I suppose.

it has just been the final nail in the coffin when it comes to this thread, I just recognized him and put his history out there. suppose none of you bothered downloading the discord dump and you're all too busy posting surface level garbage from reddit
