Clashes between Jews and Palestinians in Jerusalem. Israel now invading Gaza according to (Questionable) Reports - If your thoughts are "I don't like either" you don't need to fucking post because it's been said 100 times you fucking dullard
Isreal offers us a valuable trading partner in the middle east and a proxy for pushing US interests in the region. Sure, we could do that with basically any other state, but that would require mending a lot of bridges and pissing off a state we have already invested so much into the creation of a military juggernaut.
lol they're kinda like this here too though. I should have saved the thing about the armed Jewish territories up in NY not allowing niggers in when this whole BLM shit got started. It's in the original riots thread but would take hours to find.
Do you engage in international trade? When asked how this benefits "us" generally we aren't asking how it benefits international financiers and corporations. We're asking how it benefits us.

We pay the Palestinians too. And the Egyptians. And many others. The United States is a great trough for internationalists. Idiots that want to play into this continuing however will continue to belly ache over Jews as if Israel is that unique or special in that regard.
Israel has a smaller population than NYC, yet we gave them $38 billion dollars. That in itself is an insane amount. Per capita? It's large scale looting of US aid. We give barely anything to Palestine and we do it to the anti-Hamas Palestinians. The US started giving aid to Egypt after they made peace with Israel. Not only do we pay 38 billion to Israel, we also pay many billions to bribe the Egyptians to not be hostile to Israel.
But there is the thing. A portion of land. The Jews were given, and only claimed, a portion. Until other people decided to spar with them and losing their own resources in the process.
Israel took a disproportionate amount of the fertile land compared to the number of Jews. Plus you can't just take about 50% of someone's property then be surprised when they fight back. Imagine if I took half of your food then when you got mad I said "Hey, I'm only taking a portion."
Does more diversity in economic trade benefit the people? Does having what basically amounts to an autonomous forward base in a region known for instability make us personally more secure?

We receive goods from Israel, adding to overall market competition.
The middle east has always been a battleground for rising/competing empires. We'd be fools to not maintain a presence there.
