To be absolutely clear, what is the worst thing Drexel's ever bragged about, really? As a long term listener of WATP listening to the decline, I super mixed on the entire show as it is now. I jumped on after they reviewed cum town; my introduction to both shows. Watching it grow from side project to full grift was fun and I'll attribute a lot of success to Karl being somebody outside of the internet, something Dick's BPITU character suggested but this time closer to reality. Karl saw big bucks with Dax's fans and thus is trying to become inseparable which is hurting the quality of the show a lot. the female voicemail cohost bit is tacky and is as bad as Dax trying to sleep with z list new to LA women. The cycling aspect of the main co-host helps the show a lot to not fall into RoTS mediocrity, and ill even give Vic a pass because of the build up to appearances.

2018 to sometime 2019 was my favorite era of the show, new guests like Kaya brought new perspectives but episodes were still short. Plugs, ad reads, voicemail segments, all bullshit Karl at one point shat on other podcasts for including eventually were added, bloating the length. I've never seen more blind defending of not editing out trash than the Dick fanbase;. if anyone had the gall to suggest 3+ hours a week of what new ears would consider incel radio could be sweeter with the fat removed they'd be hit with a "i'd want the show to be even longer".

I was generally unfamiliar to the entire O&A and Stern universe so listening to the history lessons mixed with some actual good clips was entertaining for a while, though its starting to drag hard.
Opie ain't the juicy cow he was when he'd waste the world's time at Gephards and now two of his friends are dead. Patrick Michael got tiring as a bit, though i will give the whole dichotomy between Do you Party? and The Briefcase was kino. Stuttering John is someone i'd alog if i had to deal with him IRL so i never get bored of those segments

The Maddox twitch episode was just extremely forced, the milking of hating on that weirdo from Utah has unfortunately made him more relevant than he should be on this side of the internet. I grew up on MST3k DVDs so the core show isn't going to bore me as long as they continue punching up and down at hacks and small guys who should quit while ahead.

My friend suggests that the politics dragged the show down, I certainly think it dates the content but is nothing as bad as continued parasite activity of the realm of Dick.
