No offense because I like your posts, but I don't see how any of this could be money laundering.I keep making jokes about him being somehow ensnared with ISIL but it would be Peak DSP to have somehow gotten embroiled in unwittingly funding international terrorism.
Actually, wait, no. Peak DSP would be unwittingly getting embroiled in funding international terrorism, getting caught because of his own ineptitude and, through no doing of his own, avoiding treason charges.
There have been instances of money laundering using gambling at racetracks and casinos. Criminals trade in some "hot" bills for chips, or bet it through the window at a track on low-return, high percentage bets. Even if you lose 10% or even 25% of the money, when you cash your chips/tickets, you get "clean" money back. Then you can spend it freely.
However, the money getting poured into DSP just goes to Scopely, the liquor store, and (now and then) his "bills". Donating to Phil doesn't fund anything but Phil.
