I believe when it comes to his needing of money and his worrying about money he is being a genuine person for the only time periods in his life. That $5k from the last two weeks is long gone, that mortgage payment is coming up, he was probably vaguely aware of the MidFirst judgement, he knows Twitch is going to give him probably half what he expected to make because of the refunded subs and he has no concept of squirreling money away to deal with anything preventatively because he has money on tap with his begging. His avenue of how he makes money immediately doesn't pair well with his predilection to spend his account balance as he sees it on anything from DoorDash to Scopely.

As dumb as Phil is, he would have to be excruciatingly blind to not notice that drama rakes in money like nothing else does. Especially since that enables him to be lazy, so you would expect him to be on the look-out for such chances.

But he's also easily agitated by the littlest things since his world is so fucking small and he's so obnoxiously autistic. So it can go either way, in a lot of cases, but here, I'm calling bullshit because it's preemptive. Too convenient for his begging purposes, and he's being too measured. When Superhound was fucking with him, it was very different.

As for if he smiles as he's pulling a con, I don't think so, because Phil is way too spoiled and entitled to enjoy such things on that level. Especially after all these years of not paying the kinds of conscequences for his bullshit that he deserves. This is just another day in the life of a pigroach, basically. Nothing for him to get giddy over.

A bit of both. He knows it bring in the whale bucks, but he also genuinely thinks he has a demanding job and is short on cash because he spends it as soon as he gets it.

I don't know about the tweets but if he's not an actually perpetually broke addict and instead is running a long con to hide away mellons of dollars he's one of the best actors of all time.

There's two things we know about Phil for certain: he's lazy, and he's an addict.

Phil doesn't do anything he doesn't have to. This is proven. And if you ask me, that includes gin-fueled begging. He spent all the money he got late into the night, now in order to secure his next fix, he has no choice but to beg, and let's face it, it works.

The fear of not having money to gamble tomorrow, and having likely suffered from withdrawal symptoms when he has a bad tips day, is great enough to overcome his laziness and force him to put effort in to something that will pay off: begging.

To answer your question, Phil is probably legitimately stressed out after he completely empties his paypal into microtransactions and realizes that he could wake up today and he doesn't meet the tips goal and can't pay his actual bills. But I'd say he's probably worried more about not getting his next fix than paying his real bills. This is addict behavior.

This is a good analysis. For Phil, it really is a constant battle between his fragile ego, his unending greed, his arrogant stubbornness, and his laziness which knows no bounds. That's what makes watching him so entertaining; no matter what aspect of his psyche wins out, it is almost always bad for him in the long run.

Could mean nothing maybe he’s updating like someone said above or possibly the PayPal ban saga may be upon us? I’ve never donated so I don’t know what the link was before can anyone check to see if it’s still live?

It means that during this window of no tip links, you can’t come on the channel and show support if you watch his recorded on-demand streams on YouTube. Remember that tipping is the best way to help as it helps in the short term. Cheering and subbing, those are funds Phil will not get immediately and has to wait for Twitch to pay him. If you were a grown up and understood how bills worked you would understand.
