This is a good time for the weekly reminder that anything Phil says without evidence can be dismissed as a lie. He couldn't even keep his story straight about how definitive he was about knowing whether Twitch was going to pay him. And whaddya know, days beforehand Tevin, a man who'd been banned from Twitch before and therefore had firsthand knowledge of Phil's situation, said he would be paid, and he was paid. I'm sure there was a clause in the contract Phil signed in 2016 detailing exactly what would happen to outstanding funds in the event of contract termination but I'm sure he just forgot that clause after definitely having read the whole thing before clearing the dollar signs from his eyes and signing it.
That's plausible but from what I know of email clients/apps, they tend to only show the time an email is recieved when it was recieved on that same day. If it was recieved at 4:58am Friday morning, then it would have "Friday" in there somewhere.
With the "marathon" money he could certainly get a better brand new High end PC, but knowing Phil and his "work expenses" he wont and will piss it all away on Gacha.
I agree with you. I'm saying he got that e-mail Friday morning, took a screenshot of it Friday morning to hold onto, and then ran the begathon. I'm saying he planned this as a contingency if he didn't get all his pitybux so people didn't wonder why he was so calm and how he was gonna possibly survive without the full amount for which he was asking. I'm saying, with conviction, that this is premeditated Phil scumbaggery, and serves as a logical explanation as to why he was so calm throughout the stream instead of going full ree-mergency as we've seen in the past over things that weren't as serious by comparison.
According to TOS, Twitch can withhold the final payment after removal at their discretion. Since they normally don't, the only reason they would have kept it (that I can think of) is if there was fraud - like Superhound chargeback fraud - relating to bits or subs. But it looks like that wasn't an issue.
Notice how he VERY purposefully leaves out the date, cuz i can GUARANTEE that that date does NOT say the 15th at 4:58 AM but was sent on the 14th at 4:58 AM meaning he got paid BEFORE the marathon. And i can bet he won't be willing to show the date, even tho he thinks hes owned "da trollz" with this.
