The ugly red couch in particular and other things in the house read as German home to me.
The ugly red contemporary couch was the weird detail that made me question her really being in Germany earlier. It was a particularly mundane type of middle class contemporary euro furniture that you commonly see in Germany, but never North America.
I’d assume the GFM was all about scamming money for a move or a trip.
Still I’d assume she needed to be hitched before she would have been permitted entry into the country, but a German spouse would be the easy explanation for how she managed to get into the country in 2020. (A EU citizen parent or dual citizenship would too. I guess given who we are dealing with she might have kept a detail like that secret in order to scam money.)
There’s no way she was allowed into Germany in 2020 just to try and get some surgery.
It is interesting that there was some letter from a German doctor saying she couldn’t fly back to the USA. It gives the impression that the German govt wanted her to gtfo. Makes one wonder how she did enter and why there would soon be pressure to make her return to the USA. Very fucking weird how she would have managed to get entry but then have to come up with a medical excuse as to why she couldn’t gtfo within just a few weeks/months. Shady shit. Maybe she had some weird way that she could gain entry - maybe even crossing a land border - but then was going to try and use munchie medical BS to try and remain. I can’t figure out what she’s manage to finagle if she’s currently in Germany.
There’s no way it only takes that small of a sum to get German citizenship? I can’t believe that’s all it would cost. Asians regularly comes up with those types of sums just to get smuggled into Europe or North America illegally.
Hell, the USA requires over a $1million investment in order to secure a green card and even that takes a bit of additional string pulling and connections to obtain. (Like an American business partner who needs the investment Capitol for a joint venture and has political connections. It’s a big reason you have rich Chinese buying expensive investment real estate in the USA)
I could see $25k getting you into Turkey or maybe Hungary or Czech. if you bribe the right person, but Germany? There’s no way citizenship could be bought and for so cheap.

I said I wasn't going to theorize but i've been thinking/drinking it over. We might be seeing the convergence of three different theories: @Wheezy Asthmatic's idea that she has been planning this for a long time; @Umaibae's idea that she's a military dependent abusing Tricare; and your idea that she's married someone to get into Germany.
It would explain the sudden move that came out of nowhere. The military doesn't exactly give you a lot of advanced notice from what I can see, and I know people IRL who have married their girlfriends to bring them overseas when the military decided to ship them off somewhere. I don't know how much this would be affected by coof.
It also crossed my mind that she might have moved to Rochester area or back home with family in VA way before September. She was very careful to hide the details of what hospital she was in in september. None of the addresses I have for her in WA have room for a pool, even an above-ground. Originally I thought it had to be washington because of the ferns in the picture, but on second glance they're cinnamon ferns and can definitely survive in Rochester.
This appears to be her last address there and it's obviously an apartment complex.
For months before her hospital trip and sudden crisis, all her tweets are either retweets, politics, or fighting with other furries. No pics of her dog or anything that would give a hint of location. If the idea that she's not really close with any of these people and is just some entity they're aware of from ~the fandom~ is true then she might have skipped town and gotten married and simply never mentioned it.

I just have a hard time believing that everyone involved could keep their mouths shut about it, particularly parents and other family members. We know the supposed estrangement between herself and her family is fictional, this is exactly the kind of thing extended family members would not be able to shut up about. Anytime a daughter in the family gets married there is a parade of aunts and others who are going to post about it. I really doubt that you could get them all to stay tight lipped about it, even in the case of an elopement.

Yeah but we can't find any of their socials other than mom's dead youtube channel. It's hard to gauge what their reaction is if we can't see it. And even if we did find them, she could easily sell them the line that she needs them to not talk about her wedding/move because the zoosadists want to drug and rape her. She's been in actual physical danger from some of these lunatics, apparently. And we don't know if this James Quatro is the hubs or just someone who was friends with her that she stayed with because we can't find him either, but the few family members I tracked down aren't active.
Some families don't blast their private lives all over social media for the public to gawk at. Not every family rushes right to facebook to announce someone died. I never put any stock in the "the family didn't mention it on facebook" argument because uh, mine doesn't either.

It's not for citizenship, it's for the visa, for the living costs she has to be able to provide for herself so that she can't claim welfare.
If she's here as a student she needs 10000 €/year in a safety/locked account.
If she was invited for a long-term stay, i.e. to marry a citizen, the invitee needs to guarantee to be able to provide for her for a maximum of 5 years.

Her secretly getting married to a Servicemember who is/was PCSing to Germany makes the most sense to me, but here's another potential military angle:
Looking at the photo she posted of her military brother, it gives a few more details:
He's not in the Army. The combat shirt and Desert MARPAT camo show that he is either a Marine, or a US Navy Corpsman (which are basically medics for Marine units who are formally in the Navy, but are posted in Marine Divisions). The subdued patch on his arm looks like the 4th Marine Division patch to me, but it's hard to tell.
Why is this important? Because while the Army and Air Force have plenty of bases in Germany, the US Marines have little to no opportunity to be posted overseas to Germany (with one possible exception I'll talk about after). If they're stationed in Europe, it will be to Naval Station Rota, in Spain. I don't know if land crossing is more lax, but it could be possible that she was able to tag into Spain to her brother, then cross over land into Germany?
The only exception that a Marine would be posted to Germany is that US Marines are embassy security for all US Embassies around the world, including the one in Germany. Perhaps if her brother worked as embassy security, if there was some way of slipping her into the country in the middle of all this, his connections in the embassy would be the people most likely of being able to achieve that.
Or, it's very well possible that her brother did what a lot of Marines did when they found they couldn't get promoted above E-4 if they stayed in the Marines after the surge, and just ETSed with the Marines and signed up with Army. Who knows. It's fun to speculate on this dogfucker mystery with all of you, anyway.
Oh, also for the case of her getting married to a servicemember: in the military there are extremely strong incentives for an enlisted soldier to get married (to the point where a lot of dumb privates will marry a stripper or a girl they've known for a week, or even soldiers doing the whole "I now pronounce you Chuck and Larry" con). So, an E-5 and below enlisted servicemember will be willing to marry practically anything to get out of living in the barracks, where they get waken up at 3am for a surprise "Health and wellness" room inspection. So, I'd say the possibility of some dumb private wanting to marry a dogfucker he barely knows to be a strong possiblity.

Because if she changed her last name and moved to another country, faking her own death probably seemed like a pretty solid plan to disconnect herself from her internet history. I think it makes more sense than marrying a German just because of how long immigration via that route can take.

if she entered with the reason of marriage, that person would need to have a certain money amount to prove he can provide for her. I honestly have no idea how it looks like for foreign service members or what that amount would be, I just know that that rule exists. I seem to recall it's easier (also cheaper) to come here for another reason and then "just happen to meet" & marry when you're in the country, as there's no way for the government to forbid such a marriage if you're already in the country. (it can forbid you the entry though if it just has 0.1% of a suspicion that marriage you plan to travel in for is bogus)
You don't directly get citizenship that way, but you're allowed to stay in the country (as in "stay with your family") as long as your marriage lasts and can eventually apply for citizenship after a few years. This is all just from memory from what I heard about years ago, I don't know what the current state is but I don't think things changed that much. Just know that in Germany everything bureaucratic takes months and is absolutely maddening. If you try to do something more difficult, it's actually a good idea to consult a lawyer. COVID made it worse since most gov. places just closed for the public, had no backup plan and have never heard of "computers" or "email". "Quick" is not a word you can apply to any part of the German bureaucratic apparatus. Really. I cannot understate this. You might pay wanting to get a new ID card with your sanity. It's probably easier (and more preferable) to get into that assisted suicide thing than to start a legal business. Bureaucrats in Germany are a protected class that can get away with murder. Most of them are the incompetent offspring of other Bureaucrats. It's all nepotism of the highest caliber and you can be the most incompetent and useless fuck alive and the worst that'll happen to you is that you get transfered to another place if your old place can't cover up your fuck-ups anymore. I know it's apropos of nothing but it needs to be said.
Anyways, I know with all the refugees it seems to look like it's very simple to get into germany but if you want to do it the proper way it really isn't. When I heard what some colleagues had to go through to get here, I too often wondered if it's easier to just throw your passport away at the border and call yourself Muhammad. It might be.
But also consider that Americans don't even need a visa nor a good reason to stay in Germany for a few months.
My guess without looking too closely is she bounced in via a different EU country/abused some other loophole and the way she got in was probably way simpler than this thread tries to cook up. If you drive, there are no border controls, you can walk down a long stretch of road and be suddenly in the Netherlands/just take some random bus line over the border. In border cities you can even see sometimes police cars of the bordering country driving around. It really is as simple as that. Understand that the EU is very interconnected.

I really think this is becoming the most plausible theory - it makes sense how she could get into Germany during the coof, why she needed such a specific amount of money and seems to clear with the military connections with her family; likely she met this guy via her family. It likely would've been a solid plan if she actually had been low-key about it, but of course a BPD munchie was never going to not want to watch the reactions (want to bet she's been alt-F5-ing this thread all weekend) in addition to never being able to lay low. It wouldn't surprise me if she ends up resurfacing eventually, especially now that people aren't buying the scam.

It was the wildly implausible move to Germany and get yourself euthanized a couple months later lie that looked to me like a way to abscond with the GoFundMe money - money that I highly doubt she actually needed.
