It's well established that narcissists like Jeannette (or otherwise controlling people) usually hate their spouses family, because they hate that they can't control them, and also hate the influence they have over their spouse. And usually, the family is quite aware that someone like Jeannette is a narcissist, and have the same mutual hatred for her as she does for them. I hate how it's always the mother who pushes this, never the father or father figure, and they always seem to go along with it, though, I wonder how many fathers are fighting against this, but it's been kept out of public eye.
