If you're young and single too, and also a giant weeb, that's definitely a shortcut to potentially finding a date as well. And fuck, if you're at least moderately sociable in a normal setting, you're basically the king of the nerds at that point
I hate crowds (when invited to weddings etc. I usually fuck off after 1-2 hours whenever possible) and I'm almost fourty, so anime conventions are just not for me I guess. But if there is someone to positively spergout about something, I'm on.
I have the feeling this joke will get out of hand
Imagine "blocking Gigguk on social media" becoming new, trending meme
If you don't like Kiara there's a remarkably simple way to not have to see her.
This. As a viewer you have a god-like power, just change the channel - there are dozens other vtubers to watch at any given time and thousands of VODs, there is no need to watch an entertainer you don't like (on a side note: I think it is good to watch/read something you don't like from time to time, just to get a better perspective).
Another warning, the docs have pretty questionable NSFW art.
Jesus fucking Christ, it's Hunter x Hunter diaper shota shit. I haven't read this all, the pictures were enough. On the other hand, I don't really care about this vtuber at all to judge whether these docs are true or just a fabrication to hurt a person joining a possibly popular meeting/talkshow.
Never noticed that totally-not-lesbo Kanata addresses herself as 'boku'.
It's interesting, but does not necessarily imply that the female speaker calling herself "boku" identifies as a male. It is kinda weird and will raise some eyebrows among native speakers, but can also be a part of playing the "clueless" character by Kanata (can also be used to indicate tomboyishness). Quoting an incredibly based person, Clyde Mandelin, personal pronouns in Japanese are like clothing, which you change depending on how you want to be perceived (or how you feel or whatever). Some of them will make you look/sound like a massive fucking faggot though, like using the comical "ore-sama" irl.
For anyone interested I recommend this article:
Speaking of faggotry, I also found this:
You never went to an anime con before? Man, you missed a lot of stupid and wild shits
Never - when I was a teenager this shit wasn't that popular in my country, and when it blew up, I felt too old already. Also cringe.
The last episode ended in a cliffhanger that to this day has not been resolved
Sorry but it was just a joke - so over-the-top final scene that you cannot really continue after that in any logical way. But don't worry about Gainax ruining a special day for someone, I watched End of Evangelion on my 18th birthday and was depressed for at least three days after.
