Oenophyta has voluntarily blocked their account. I agree this is either a Smith sockpuppet (or a meatpuppet).
Another Smith account I found is Mysia (blocked 3 weeks ago). Both names relate to places in ancient Greece and Turkey if you Google them, so he's not doing a great job of trying to hide his identity. Then again, this person doesn't appear like Mikemikev trying to hide their identity online. They have public social media profiles etc., whereas Michael Coombs creates thousands of different pseudonyms pretending to be different people on his accounts.

Holy fucking shit, this man is still doing his antics? I found this thread like a year ago and I thought it was entertaining to read through. But at that point considering most of this thread took place in 2016 I thought Michael had moved on and found something else to do, I googled him and found out he was still doing the same things. What does he gain from all of this? He's a 43-year-old university-educated teacher, you would think he would have better things to do.
I thought his fixation with the geneticist Adam Rutherford was fucking insane. He spent 60% of 2020 compulsively harassing the dude on Twitter, sending him dedicated hate on a near-daily basis through five account suspensions, instantly popping up with another account to continue. Seems like the police report stopped him which is interesting because he seemed so dedicated to doing this shit that you'd expect he wouldn't be deterred so easily.
Anyway, he's fucked. All of his online activities have been specifically documented for years and all of it is connected to his name and face, his anonymity backfired on him fast which was mostly his own doing. I'd be curious to see if he actually gets in legal trouble for this because in terms of online crimes he would be easy to charge with all of this documentation.
