Just want to go on record and say that I think Frogs plan to create a "structured" comicsgate presents is a terrible idea and I don't see it lasting more than four episodes. While I agree that he should curate guests to prevent zero-charisma nobodies from coming on, I don't think it's wise to hold the stream on a rigid timeframe which Frog has already shown himself incapable of sticking to, nor do I recommend assigning "news" stories to various panelists as if we're reading a book in elementary school.

I think when he says "structured" he's just being upfront about a minimal amount of structure like what goes into a show like Friday Night Tights, vs a total free-for-all like the stream where he was bringing up the show idea. FNT is a loose show but it's easy to tell that Gary is working off some kind of vague game plan and relying on specific guests to bring specific takes, etc.

Ethan uses this site as a barometer for what people with an IQ over 50 with no desire to bury their noses in his ass (with some obvious exceptions) think of the retarded shit he's to ensconced in, to get a proper perspective. Like this MechaRetard situation.

A lot of the time this is exactly the line between if someone will break out as a cow in general or if they just stay hated by a few regulars in a neutral/positive thread. Think back to the Dick Show thread and the way Dax's seething over it eventually outed him as the obvious cow he is now. If Ethan isn't outing himself as cow and the thread isn't bringing it out of him either then it'll be hard to get people without a grudge to agree about it.

Why does she keep claiming that calling Zack Snyder "father of the year" has nothing to do with his kid? When you take a shot at someone's parenting you're implicitly talking about their relationship to their child or the way the kid turned out. Snyder's kid turned out dead.

When you add that to her remark about Snyder "passing his kid around Pedowood", it makes it rather clear that she was doing exactly what the TFM people thought she was doing: blaming Snyder's parenting for his child's suicide. Anyone with a functioning brain understands what she was implying. There just reaches a point where the discussion is kind of played out. It isn't so bad when it's just a stream of Ethan bullshitting, but if he is serious about making a structured, serious show it's bad.

I didn't get the impression last night was supposed to be a test run for a new CG Live but was just EVS getting his thoughts out on TFM collapse and TFM grifters in general, as well as airing out things he's been holding back in regards to The High Council and Jeremy. After that it was just a typical hangout/BSing stream. Which is fine for that, but for a structured show it's terrible.

I'd hate to say it needs a hard time limit, but I don't understand for the life of me how people sit through Friday Night Tights and the like for a full fucking 5 hours. For me, two hours would probably be tops and that's only if the discussion warrants going that long. Once the topics are discussed or things are winding down, the show needs to wrap up.

If people love discussing Ethan so much I, for one, would welcome a spin off. And perhaps so would you. Because it would mean this thread can properly be focused on current happenings in CG, rather than people getting antsy because it's been five minutes since they've called Ethan a faggot, and the current topic the majority is focused on isn't about Ethan. Or God forbid, a situation where Ethan ends up looking like a proper Kiwi relative to whatever spaz he's sparring with (as he is here with Mecha, G+G, TFM, and ME).

Lots of people don't like Ethan for lots of reasons I'm sure are legitimate (if not wholly personal) but it seems like he lacks the most important criteria for being a threadworthy cow, that being lulzy behavior that can be milked for our enjoyment.

Even if you think Ethan is a liar, a hypocrite, a faggot, a talentless hack, a grifter, a fat fuck, or whatever, it doesn't make him a cow. Plenty of CG orbiters are far more cowlike than EVS. Ethan isn't getting pegged on PornHub and he isn't Micah Curtis.

MechaRandom42 ... I watched some of her videos a while back, and was weirded out by the fact that she very clearly has an obsession with Brie Larson. Like, I can't stand Brie Larson either ... But how is she even remotely relevant right now. Captain Marvel is beyond old news, and to her credit, Brie Larson's YouTube channel appears to be harmless and milquetoast if anything. Who still fucking cares about Brie Larson, lol.

She's beating a dead horse obsessing over the same topics over and over again. She's not making relevant content. Her channel is pretty much dead based on the views she gets these days, and it's not because she's being censored or because her channel's growth is being curtailed by "jealous men." Her channel stopped growing because it sucks, lol.

And, the story behind her being phased out of some livestreams is because she was apparently killing the vibe and the audience didn't like her. The people running the streams are just listening to their customers, honestly.

I did watch the livestream with Jesse and Anna. Personally, I don't blame Anna at all for getting pissed. Mecha's comments were ... Really unhinged. Don't get me wrong, I think Mecha actually has a point for calling out how the Fandom Menace still simps for Snyder after what he did to them in that livestream a few months ago ... But she took it to a really classless (and factually baseless, mind you) level. And given Anna's background with her sister dying ... Mecha can't comprehend how or why she got so pissed at her comments? Mkay.
