Usually not for several weeks, usually at a minimum 2-3 weeks, more if it's not healing (or sometimes they'll remove the staples and just use normal stitches in any 'weak spots').Maybe the staples were removed? I'm not certain how soon that would happen after amputation. She mentioned they were stapled up.
Could be from doing physical therapy, could be from leaning on it while sitting in the chair, or (this is Kelly we're talking about), could be from scratching or cellulitis/infection (a new one or they may not have got it all with the amputation, in which case they'll "revise" it, or hack it off further up).So, why do we think that stump is so red already? They were both clean & fine a few days ago...
I feel like she'd make a big deal out of the staples being removed, or at the very least mention it. Remember the guessing game she had when the staples were removed from her grafts? She had a photo of them in a container.Maybe the staples were removed? I'm not certain how soon that would happen after amputation. She mentioned they were stapled up.
But it's more likely her messing with it as soon as she was awake enough and alone.
Your granny has a way with words. Very poetic. My granny used to occasionally say that someone had a face like a slapped arse. Kelly and sad walrus finally helped me understand exactly what she meant.
I had to search this one up and found a whole essay crying about how an idiom = abooseMy granny used to occasionally say that someone had a face like a slapped arse. Kelly and sad walrus finally helped me understand exactly what she meant.
Aye, these were the photos I mentioned a few pages ago. What the fuck is on the spoon near her hands? My granny used to occasionally say that someone had a face like a slapped arse. Kelly and sad walrus finally helped me understand exactly what she meant.
Cat shit for rubbing into the sores.Aye, these were the photos I mentioned a few pages ago. What the fuck is on the spoon near her hands?
I'm not buying it from her. She went from these minimal pristine bandages just 2 days after surgery, to now having bloody vac ones. She's fucking with them.

Why does it look like she's not al, then at the last second she goes back to playing a retard? Maybe she is playing up mental conditions while she is in there. She picks the toy up normally, then kisses it, like a toddler. But then does it again but in a more retard-like manner. Retarded Kelly with the stumps and her stuffed animals.new video

I'm sure I replied way back... it's coffee grounds. Home remedy. She also tried strapping cut onions on her legs.Aye, these were the photos I mentioned a few pages ago. What the fuck is on the spoon near her hands?
You'd think an adult would be more focused on practicing using that tool to get objects they may need : something like a cup form a high shelf, a can of soup, a remote, heck, even a piece of mail.I can’t wait for her to get out of monitored care.
That video with her stumps wiggling as she grabs the stuffed animal is nightmarish.
In the U.S the severely disabled typically qualify for some kind of subsidized in home care aid usually paid for by Medicare dollars. Kelly will probably get whatever the Canadian version of that is until she drives that person insane and they quit. You'd think an adult would be more focused on practicing using that tool to get objects they may need : something like a cup form a high shelf, a can of soup, a remote, heck, even a piece of mail.
Not our Kelly. It's a squishy stuffed animal she has ever-so-creatively named after what it is.
I think this shows that she has no interest in gaining any sort of independence. Even the most basic forms of independence that she could have in her situation (having no legs). But then again, Kelly has never been stable, so perhaps she legitimately doesn't have to. I know she has room mates, but does she expect them to do everything for her now? Will she have some sort of in home care for any length of time after she's released from the hospital? Someone to come check up on her daily or every other day?
Then I roll my eyes and say "Blonde, this is Kelly. She'll be back at the hospital if she ever does get released because she'll find one way or another to stay there and get one on one attention."
I'd love for Kelly to get moved to a veterans hospital (not that that's even a possibility, and I wouldn't want to take a spot away from an actual veteran, of course, but allow me to fantasize for a moment), where she'd have to deal with people who lost their limbs in combat. Or even just a tough, grizzled old man who maybe lost both feet to the 'beetus, but goddamn it, he doesn't need help from nobody.
"Why are you crying? You can't reach Rat with your grabber? What the fuck is Rat? That stupid stuffed animal? You got two arms, dontcha, missy? Use 'em! Roll your ass over there. No, don't use the call button! You're gonna do it yourself. Roll your whiny ass over there and get it if you want it so bad."
I'm picturing like a Tommy Lee Jones type, maybe a Danny Trejo or a Keith David type....
She refused leg amputations for a long time, with doctors reportedly wanting to do below-the-knee amputations on both legs once the circulation to her feet was fucked.I went back and looked at that full leg nasty timeline and it got me wondering if amputation was her single minded goal ever since she saw how much she fucked up her lower legs. She went hole punch crazy on those lower legs, but you couldn't really see how much she had destroyed the SHAPE of them until they were fully debrided.
Every other time she had significantly self harmed (like at the cuts on her arms) she had healed more or less intact. I don't think she knew how much damage she was causing until it was too late.
I could see looking at those car wreck legs, even after the muscle moving and skin grafts, and still wanting them yeeted. For a certain vain mind, it's better to have the complete absence of something, then something hideous. Stumps are way less functional...but also less grotesque in a way.
It's really the only scenario where she DOESN'T continue scratching herself to ribbons. If losing those misshapen, graft covered, stilts was a predetermined goal she came to for aesthetic purposes.
Not saying 100% this is what I think happened, but I thought the idea was interesting.
The red patch looks even worse in the video.View attachment 2186888So, why do we think that stump is so red already? They were both clean & fine a few days ago...
she's already damaging them.new video

Since she's already in an inpatient setting, couldn't doctors take action on this? I thought spotting these things was the reason her stay was prolonged. Or is some sort of psych evaluation needed just to perform restraints, like putting her hands in mittens?she's already damaging them.
at-hip revision amputation saga soon, maybe
edit: it looks like pressure on an area that she isn't supposed to lean on yet, or punching/pinching.
What jackass is filming this tard? Still at the hospital with stupid stuffed animals, obviously for attention. Could the red on the leg be from an injection?new video
