im in montreal in province of quebec in canada. theres a crisis when it comes to lodgings. prices are way up to the point no one can afford them. so a lot of places are empty and people fight for 'cheap' places
a condo the size of phils place with that price is considered decent/better than nothing

Except if you buy something for $250k in Montreal you get to live in a culturally relevant city with amazing nightlife, food, livability, career options, etc.

Renton is a nothing town in a state that is meaningless outside of Seattle. It's not even relevant as far as Seattle's suburbs go. Considering how unimportant the actual city he moved to was, he could have got a much nicer non-middle unit non-condo for the same amount if he put in a slight amount of effort.

This is the guy who always takes three 6-hour streams to clear the second half of Nier because he always pads it out with DLC, sidequests, and/or miscellaneous stalling. If you don't stall like Phil does, the second half of Nier can be done in about 5 hours. The final dungeon is supposed to be a 45-minute segment, but Phil stretches it out to two hours by stopping to read tips, asking chat what the plot was, and then throwing a tantrum when the game won't let him save and clock out right before the final boss.

Well he is also telling that he lost his job in 2010 without warning. Meanwhile there is a video where he says himself "it was a long time coming" Yeah totally suprising when it is a long time coming. I would wager his Twitch partnership was in danger the moment Twitch decided to put more scrutiny on the offsite behaviour of their partners. He probably didn't take this serious or he never paid attention to the change in TOS (more likely I got this small bugget in my YT recommendations

Indeed. Phil has less expenses than any person with a real job, and many of his wheelchairs on SSI. If he had any sense, he'd have at least a million saved up and living the comfiest life.
