"Current year" terms that piss you off

It’s because that is about the only term that has no political or social justice interpretations. Eventually coprophiles are going to bitch about how “shitty” makes them feel otherized and that term will be dropped.

Anyway, the most insidious term right now is “equity.” Most people conflate it with equality but they are very different. Equality gives people the same opportunities but equity gives people the same outcomes. Since people are going to be different in their abilities, that means either those who come up short need help to get to the same point, or those who do better get restricted. Since we are a society that prefers to tear down, equity just means attacking and shitting on anything because inequitable outcomes must be for reasons other than individual ability. We’ve gone past 1984 and straight into Harrison Bergeron territory and it is going to have profoundly negative impacts on our society.
Dang I thought it was the opposite. The thought the equity thing was neoliberal SJW types trying to distance themselves from socialism and communism that always uses the word equality. So equity meant equality of opportunity and equality meant equality of outcome, referring to what some people say socialism would be like that everyone no matter skill level would be paid an equal wage. Social justice types have neoliberal influence so they wanted to purposely be less associated with communists.

I first saw it rise to prominence among catty bitches on Tumblr until it started spreading out to the rest of the internet, along with accompanying phrases like "That's the tea," which usually got posted alongside that image of Kermit the Frog sipping Lipton.
It started off as gay slang. Then drag queens used it. Since they have nothing interesting to contribute to pop culture ever, white girls started using it. Most young millennial and zoomer white girls talk like either niggers or faggots, it’s unreal.

No way, my friend. It is a response to decades of frustration that women and minorities continue to underperform. It basically considers things like merit, hard work, and skill as white supreeeemist and patriarchal concepts. They believe it’s because of a magical cabal of whites, mostly men, who keep minorities and women under their thumb for reasons unknown. Equality assumes everyone is the same and how they apply themselves is up to them. Equity assumes that whole idea is white supreeeeeemism and therefore is invalid and the wokeists now get to decide what is fair. It’s about as “fair” as you can imagine. Since minorities and women will never get there on their own, they must shit on and destroy those who can. That’s what equity is.

"Are you awake yet?"/"Are you paying attention?", or whatever form of criticizing one's ignorance towards "how bad things actually are." Stop saying it; these literally bug people will never get it, even if they're "aware" about corruption. Hell, it's the most egregious with them.
The term WOKE grates my ears.

demonize male sexuality

And speaking of, "objectification", "male gaze", "misogynist", "objectification", "sexist", "sexualized", and the like are all buzzwords used as wokespeak meaning "male sexuality bad" - especially "male gaze".

Even if those aren't Current Year, they're used a lot more now.

In my observations, usually the worst kinds of male sex pests and actual lesbians who tend to sexualize the fuck out of other women themselves are the ones who are most predisposed to tossing those words around like candy.

It's pretty funny when you hear it out of "sex worker" circles as well. Speaking of which, "sex worker" as a term occasionally grates on me, particularly their demands for respect for their trade. You're not exactly rendering humanitarian aid or doing anything truly self-sacrificing in order to make the world a better place by showing off your body and stuffing holes for a camera.

Rad feminism has been for a long while a mirror IMG of classic anti-Semitism. "there's this specific group of ppl overepresented in alot of things. And they're conspiring to keep it that way. kill em all! ".
Just replace Jews with white men.
There used to be a Google plugin that replaced all the words 'men/male' and 'women/female' with Jews and goyim respectively. When used on any radfem piece. That drek would seamlessly morph into mein kampf

Where did the trend of using mixed cAsE lETterS in certain words come from? I seem to see it in political conversations a lot, it sort of annoys me but I'm more confused by it than anything.
IRC, a Spongebob meme.

Using the term: newcomer or New Canadians to refer to both immigrants and refugees and getting mad if you distinguish immigrants from refugees even though I always thought refugee was a useful term. It means they're specifically here because they're in danger in their homeland. Are they trying to engineer language to silence the people criticizing rapeugees?
Anti-vaxxxer with more than one x.
