I (Canadian) have unfortunately decided to lie to my family and colleagues that I am getting the vaccine.

I really wish I didn't have to do this, but I came to the realization that they are doing this out of a position of blind faith, rather than for scientific reasons. They believe in science like it is a religion to have faith in, and they do as they are told by the authority figures and they do not question it.

I told my mom that I did not want to take the vaccine because it is not actually approved by the FDA as they have not yet completed long term testing, and I sent her Pfizer's own statement on that, and also sent her a video of Michael Yeadon talking to this Swedish guy about his concerns about the vaccine. He gives a lot of rational reasons why we don't need this and should be worried. I told her that while I totally respect her own choice, I do not want to get it myself.

Her response was pretty much verbatim "I am going to trust what the mainstream media says about this and you need to get vaccinated so that together we can irradiate this virus". Whenever I would visit she would bring up how I needed to get vaccinated because she "doesn't want me to get hurt" and she is "worried about the kids". Then I tried to convince her on religious grounds why I don't want to take it, essentially that I felt something demonic is happening. Well that did not work either as she just said back to me "God gave us the technology to defeat this, please get your vax".

So, realizing that she will never respect my own choice and rational reasons, I replied by telling her I scheduled myself for the Vaccine. I don't need to be browbeaten and shit on behind by back by these unreasonable people even if they are my family, if they cannot respect my decision, then they do not deserve an honest answer anymore.

Around my colleagues, they all got the vax as soon as they could and are making fun of people who are against it to the point that they even intend to shun people who don't have it (even though they are vaccinated and are not going to be threatened in any way by the unvaxed). My boss has been asking me, and I told him I am scheduled to take it.

My good friend got the vax and even posted his vax card on facebook "do your part" he and his wife say. He then asked me "when's yours?". Well fuck you. "Oh, yeah I'm getting it next week!".

Fuck man what the hell is happening to this country.

Nope, there actually are people autistic enough to wear a helmet in their car, apparently including @JimmyNugget. I looked it up because it seemed equivalent to the "public safety" garbage we've been forcefed for 15 months now and shouldn't have been as surprised to see this "community" exist.

That's how they want you to feel, and that's how the people around you have been feeling. It sucks, and I get it. A lot of us do. Many people might be responding telling you just not to do it, but you really aren't alone in this. There is a lot of pressure out there to get it, and it can feel really isolating when you're the only one left in your social circle.

I've been running into this too, fwiw. I'd had people call "the vaccine hesitant" things like "ignorant" and "selfish" not knowing I'm one of them and standing right there.
They come into conversations expecting everyone in them already feels the same way and is just as eager to jump into the circlejerk.
Hell, even the one person I can talk to about this completely freely felt the need to gently remind me to be cognizant of where I get my news when I'm the person who told them the reason why I have to look at retarded site like Buzzfeed in the first place.

Can you link some of it? I've only really seen a handful of anecdotes. Which is disturbing because my own experiences since the vaccines started becoming widespread tell me something fucky is happening.

Okay, so the CDC recommends you get jabbed even if you've already been infected because they don't know how long natural immunity lasts. So what, are we supposed to believe that a vaccine gives longer-lasting immunity? How would they even know that at this point. And considering how the rat fuck Fauci is already claiming that you'll need boosters from now until the end of time, doesn't that mean that the all-powerful vaccines don't actually confer immunity for longer?
