Only tangentially related, I do recall Ina briefly talking about making a hashtag for NSFW art so as to segregate it from people who don't want to see it. Did that ever materialize? I'm sort of surprised they all didn't have one by default.

A lot of porn is posted to twitter now and VTubers generally use fanart for weekly schedules and streams. It's probably not fun to look through porn to see cute anime girls if you don't want to see it, not to mention what its like to the VTuber that see people drawing sex scenes/nudity of themselves.

I guess it makes sense the most serious lolcows wouldn't have the actual focus to become VTubers. Most of the worst seem to be "Aspiring VTubers", whatever the hell that means.
As for some new drama in the second stringer indie scene, the femboy VTuber Bungo Taiga seems to be having some sort of pedophile hull-a-baloo. TLDR: About a week ago, mods of his Discord made claims against Taiga ranging from him being a pedophile and getting shota art done for himself to him being transphobic (gasp). Pretty much all the more recent and pinned tweets are about it. Definitely some weird stuff. Self identified minors on the Discord trying to trade pics with other members, talking about kinks, and what not. To Taiga's credit, he did seem to try and shut this down.
I personally would have nuked the whole server. Having an Official Discord is asking for this sort of trouble.

Huh. Kinda surprised I haven't caught wind of that until now. Kyuotto and what few associates she keeps these days tend to weigh in on any drama stirred up regarding pedophilia among indies, considering that she was a victim of having those accusations unfairly lobbed towards her.

Is like the all-encompasing universe in which all those magic creatures (Vampires, werewolves, mummys, changelings, etc...) exist. The general world is called WoD, the name of the creature is what you are going to play as and the subtitle (Hunter: The vigil or The reckoning, Vampire:The Masquerade/Dark Ages) is the specific setting.

First point of confusion likely comes from the fact that there are two main versions. World of Darkness and the newer Chronicles of Darkness, the latter of which gets extra confusing because it was also titled World of Darkness up until a few years ago when they wisely decided to differentiate it further. HoloEN is playing Chronicles of Darkness (though the 2e of Hunter hasn't been released yet, so technically they're still using the New World of Darkness rules, but that is more complex than I am going to get into here). Both main versions have the same side splats, but some of them have pretty big differences between the two versions. Lots of people really like the old World of Darkness stuff, but personally, if you aren't attached to oWoD, go ahead and start with CofD. I think it's rules are more streamlined than anything.
CofD is what the rest of the post talks about due to its relevancy with HoloEN's campaign.
You used to need two books, the core book and one of the side books. I think they made the 2e books standalone, but can't remember exactly. And not all the side books have had their 2e books released yet.
As usual, you can get all the books for free from the Trove. I'll leave googling that to the reader.
Basically, pick one of the following dozen books to base your campaign around.
The core book is Chronicles of Darkness. The main book explaining overall rules, enemies, and basic humans. Technically can be played as a standalone, but I would recommend picking up one of the splats in addition.
The three main ones are:
Vampire the Requiem -- A more social-oriented game of a hidden night life and personal horror. Players are vampires.
Werewolf the Forsaken -- Tree-huggers gettin mad when spirits stomp around in their forest. Something about savage fury too, idk, Werewolf has always been my least favorite. Players are werewolves.
Mage the Awakening -- This world sucks man, why don't we ascend to atlantis or whatever? Might break reality on the way, but oh well! Kind of a mystery game with investigations and lots of crazy abilities. Players are mages.
And then there are others as well:
Promethean the Created -- Players are Frankenstein's monster-like monsters that normal people absolutely hate. Like supernatural loathing. Not entirely sure how the game goes, never played it.
Changeling the Lost -- A game of Beautiful Madness in which players are humans that were once kidnapped by fae, but have since escaped, only to find themselves completely replaced in the real world and completely changed bye their experiences in the fae land. Fae want them back, hunting them down, while they must deal with being completely out of place and lots of political intrigue going on with other changelings.
Hunter the Vigil -- The game Calli is running. Players are basically just humans that saw one of the other splats, realized that monsters exist, and decided they don't like monsters existing. TBH, one of my favorites. It was my first introduction to the setting. It's got everything, from combat to investigations. And even supernatural powers in the form of supernatural equipment, advanced technology, or even being the literal children of Satan. Great times.
Geist the Sin-Eaters -- Players are Geists who have come back from the dead with a little ghost pal that might not be quite such a pal. Not played this one so not sure how games generally go.
Mummy the Curse -- Players are mummies. Ancient beings from lost civilizations with absurdly extreme levels of power. Unfortunately, when they wake up, they have the most power and little knowledge of who they are or what they're supposed to be doing. As they stay awake, their power level fades, but their memories come back. I've always wanted to play Mummy, but never have, so don't really know how the game generally goes.
Demon the Descent -- Players are fallen angels who have abandoned their duty to the God Machine. I know very little beyond that, this game out after most of my TTRPG friends moved away.
Beast the Primordial -- Players are hungry ancient beasts? I also know very little about this one.
Deviant the Renegade -- Players were experimented on and want revenge? I'm not actually sure this one is out yet, but I do remember downloading the preview PDFs for it. Haven't read them.
Those are all the official ones. There are a number of fan games of varying quality.
Genius the Transgression -- Players are mad scientists
Dragon the Embers -- Players are dragons, part of a dying race of powerful beings that are now trying to get by mostly while hoarding resources and maybe princesses too.
Princess the Hopeful -- Players are anime magical girls, except probably more along the lines of Madoka than Sailor Moon.
Sovereign the Autonomy -- Players are artificial intelligences. Not particularly finished, but I like the idea of it.
Leviathan the Tempest -- Players are ancient sea monsters undergoing puberty or something.

I mean i would agree if nyanners wasnt the afterthought in the collab i agree it would feel scummy to usurp Veis position as the initial collaborator
