StoneToss (allegedly, formerly Red Panels)

Maybe, but most right winger arguments about the conflict are just begging to be used against them in the future.
I'd do a more eloquent shit post about jews but I'm on mobile and honestly just tired of the whole affair with Israel and Palestine. More interested in the actual comics here now.

Why not go full William Buckley and argue that NATO should have done a preemptive nuclear strike against the USSR in 1949?

No Soviet Union, Warsaw pact, DPRK, Cuban revolution or Communist China. Probably no Israel, either.
Comments like this show how incredibly ignorant the hardcore right is. Not only did Israel already exist in 1949, having existed since 1948, it was always from the very beginning anti-Soviet and anti-communist (mainly because Stalin was a dick to Jews). The literal same US Republicans who wanted to flatten the whole commie bloc were allies of Israel. Look up Buckley's views on the region. Goldwater literally was half-Jewish and he got the 1964 nomination.

Being extremely anti-Israel on the right (as in, more than just wanting to end military aid) is actually pretty unusual IRL and is only really popular on edgelord forums and certain Twitter accounts like Stonetoss. Broadly speaking Israel is a conservative country and far left communists are the people who hate them the most in the mainstream, outside places like 4chan.

Here in Britain we've had absolutely raving anti-Israel demonstrations from Muslims and the far left, but practically nothing from alt-right spergs at all.

Stalin didn’t turn on the chosenites until the early 1950s, partly because Israel was more western aligned and in his sclerotic mind, meant all Jews couldn’t be trusted (baste!). That led to the Doctor plot: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doctors'_plot

Of course, Israel started off very socialist and even now can be described as a democratic socialist nation. I give the levantines shit but always like how they take care of their people (I don’t consider Arabs and Africans who live there to be their people). A nationalistic socialist country tends to thrive pretty well with a homogeneous population.

Amogus?

Much of Israel was an uninhabitable desert and it's a marvel of technology and modern agriculture now. Much of Palestine looked like Israel does now and the people currently living there turned it into an utter shithole. There's a reason other Arabs don't want those people around and most of their leaders are carpetbaggers from other countries, like Arafat from Egypt, because they can't do shit on their own.
I think it's more like muslim countries that don't want their european expatriates back. They see the value in these people being an islamic thorn in the side of an enemy nation.

This is a strange amogus...

You guys are nuts. It's obviously in the speech bubbles.

That was one of Buckley's hypotheticals. If you support pre-emptive strike against germany in 1939 why not russia in 49?

Because when they protest anything the whole event then becomes about them.

They would have made it a part of Syria, that was the original goal of the Arabs in Israel until they got BTFO'd and then invented a made up ethnic identity which is named on a term the romans used to piss off jews.
Israel by itself has pretty much nothing to offer besides religious memorabilia, olives, salt and religious tourism. There is no oil or real quantity of natural resources. And appropriately it was a desolate place until the jews came and actually made it habitable. The current "Palestinians" are mostly made up of arabs that got to Israel after the jews, and argued that the land was theirs all along.
tl;dr the idea of a Palestinian wakanda is retarded.
Biggest evidence for it being just Arab Wakanda is the background of Palestinian leaders. PLO leader Yasir Arafat was born in 1929 in Cairo, spent all his childhood and early adulthood in Egypt. Then after Egypt lost to the Israelis he became a Palestinian nationalist LARPer because of his ancestry

The Dead Sea is apparently worth an absolute fortune:

Likud are not even close to socialism. They're basically religious conservatives like the GOP. Israel just doesn't have the dysfunctional American private health care system.

There are left-wing parties there, but they haven't held office since the 2000s.

The left wing in Israel kneecapped themselves by championing diplomacy and concessions rather than following the footsteps of the old socialists who fought against the Arabs. Now anytime the left starts gaining in the polls the Palestinians start a new war and destroy any support the left had.

The Israeli left has the same problem as in Japan and Britain, where they're seen as pacifist and weak on foreign policy. Obviously that was different a few decades ago.

Economic conservatism is very different than social conservatism. They are intertwined in American politics but not necessarily the case everywhere else.

Sure, but they aren't on the economic left either. Socialist/communist movements are pretty fringe there.
