I listen to these guys every once in a while. Usually just have them on in the background while i work. They always have had that kind of "aunt and uncle" vibe that happen to like the same stuff as you do. It's honestly kind of weird seeing them on the farms.

They do have a couple kids, who they don't give the names to.

Haven't seen much of the twitter stuff, though, does it really make them that lolcow-worthy?

I've started thinking of these types as Doomcucks since they all orbit Doomcock at drink from his rumormill. Have they had any major altercations, arrests or funny lawsuits? They always seemed like boring background characters surfing on the waves of fandom tears.


Kneon worked with Disney on their comic books and later as a member of the friendly press. So, they are better informed then most of their circle. They also cultivated their own source in WDWPro, who has proved to be a accurate source on things inside the parks. Are we going to end up in a situation where every single geek 'culture' youtuber get's their own thread?

I'd rather have a thread covering all the Doomcucks so we have a single place to talk about them when they inevitably turn on each other.

One thing I wish I could beat into you socialists: Making money is not a crime. People spend money on stupid shit all the time. Selling crap to willing buyers isn't a crime it's a job.

When just Kneon is in the video, I can find it tolerable, but when Geeky is there too, the videos seem like they're three times as long as they need to be because they have to bounce their lukewarm takes off of each other about how SJWs are the real racists and so on (we know, we know).

At the end of the day, they're milquetoast news article readers with fairly uninteresting opinions, but there seems to be quite a niche for that sort of content for whatever reason.

Might not be so bad if Geeky and her voice weren't so fucking insufferable. Like nails on a chalkboard that just parrots whatever she thinks people want to hear. It doesn't help that they've been spreading clickbait shit or Doomcock bullshit. Despite this, they're not lolcows. They're just a declining youtube channel. Doomcock though is far more worthy of a thread imo.

As someone who used to enjoy their content, Clownfish TV has definitely earned a thread of their own as of late. They made two entire videos recently on Disney World taking down a chimney. And because it loosely looked like a penis, you essentially watched twenty minutes of Geeky and Kneon making bad dick jokes. In another video, the topic was about an reticle that criticized Disney... but they didn't start reading the article until halfway through a 20-minute video. The quality in their work has gone down drastically in recent months and it's about time it had it's own separate thread instead of being an alternate topic in TheQuartering's.

Call me puritanical, but I think main lolcow threads should be reserved for absolutely nutty behavior. So far, Clownfish TV is just mildly annoying, but nothing of note. They aren't incredibly lazy, just kinda boring background noise. I even think comparing them to the Quartering is too far since ol Quarterpounder is exeptionally bad with his droning voice and face that attracts tranny fists.

The Berserk thing is funny though. Seems like them and the artist called Plague of Gripes tweeted out something retarded and got shit on it for it. Fun times!

Surely we can have them on this site, but as main lolcows, I don't think it'll work out.

Yea I think they need to have their own posting. It might give them time to think about their actions otherwise it ain't going to end well.

What turned me off is the typical marketing ploy of selling old IP to their now large viewer group. Reprinting old artwork is incredibly cheap since all of the R&D was done years ago.

The other thing is some of the information given is correct as I have seen it myself. They found their niche in youtube and they are making a run at it.

But like many in here that have stated... the quality of the product is on the decline and the reason why is dealing with the Youtube analytics. You need to make X amount of videos with a X amount of time to make money off of it. At the present moment they have YouTube Blessing's because they have reached that magical 100 and 150 thousand mark heading towards to 200 thousand mark.

But as soon as they get too uppity You tube will smack them down.

This is what happens when you play the digital economy. You are fully at the mercy of the corporation hosting your content.

However this does not give them the excuse of the decline of quality material for the sake of clicks.

Do it right or not at all.

Even Geeks & Gamers weren't lolcow material til the hilarious Zack Snyder meltdown. Just because you don't like their videos doesn't make them a lolcow, they have to actually do something stupid or funny (preferably both).

Could they potentially do something lolworthy in the future? Sure. But as it is they're like the tamest among the "Fandom Menace" channels.

The moment I knew these guys were full of shit, is when I watched the video of them talking about Blue Sky closure. Now, you would think that Disney shutting down a smaller animation studio for no reason, in the middle of a pandemic, would be easy and valid outrage points

NOPE, they spent most of the time actually celebrating and gleefully being smug about it, because one of the movies that Blue Sky was working on was the adoption of one of Noelle Stevenson's comics

And because Noelle Stevenson is to them is what was Brine Larson to The Quarting, everything she / he / whatever was involved with is bad and must be destroyed

(Nevermind that she wasn't involved with the movie but oh well)
