Yep, Boogie said it was the same lawyer. I think he even said he was a friend, but I don't know if that's just retard boogie thinking everyone that takes his money with a smile is his friend, or if he actually knew the guy before hiring him.

This is a tad of a tangent but I've always wondered why the significance of "2988" is for boogie? It's not it's birthday since that would be in the 70's. Assume it is a date, what's so important about Feb. 9th, 1988 ( or even Sept. 2nd) to boogie? Or is he so attached to the retarded name "boogie" he just added some numbers because the "pure" form was already picked?

I like my headcanon that he's not-so-subtly dogwhistling "1488" given how edgy he used to be (and still clearly is) and how hard he always tries to virtue-signal to the left. Also this theory seems to make him very upset and that's always entertaining.
