Even if the Palestinian aid is all humanitarian in nature like food/medicine its one less item Hamas has to use its budget for and keeps the citizens from revolting and kicking them out of power.

Its like giving a sandwich to a homeless person, it allows them to use the money they panhandle to buy booze or enable existing as a homeless person.

"children trying to survive by eating locusts"

Eat the bugs, bigots.

>NYT readers start attacking Jews
>NYT spins it to make it about the right, who are almost overwhelmingly pro-Israel in the west
Both actual mainstream parties are mindlessly worshipful of Israel. There are reasons for this, some of them good, some of them not so good. But it's an absolute fact that AIPAC gives all of Congress its marching orders.

In the list of prayers this week there was "we pray that Israel and Gaza can find peace."

I was just like "Mother. Fucker. This is what we are down to. Can't even call a crusade anymore."
Good. Catholics couldn't even do that properly, constantly squabbling over material possessions, ego and land. Even attacking Christians to satisfy their greed and bloodlust.

I'm confused by the wording here. Is the US actually manufacturing these rockets and shipping them to Israel, or is this just a metaphor for a government-to-government handout?

If the former, is a contractor manufacturing the rockets and the US is footing the bill?
We designed, tested, manufactured, and installed the Iron Dome system for Israel. My guess is we didn't give them the plans for the missiles so we could make our money back by selling them. Seems like a good deal considering there's no shortage of iron age rockets pointed at Israel.

Well no shit. We sort of have treaties that prevent us from using these kind of systems but we want to have them ourselves. Why not just let Israel do these experiments for us? We have nothing to do with them right? I mean shit like the ABM treaty is expired but actual treaties don't mean shit between countries like the U.S. and Russia.

So we get to experiment with shit like Iron Dome at the expense of two other parties, one of which is our ally, and the other of which isn't even a country.

If you don't think nuclear war with the chinks or Russia is still possible, well. . .

I agree with the treaties & weapons testing part but Iron Dome is a short-to-medium range air defense module, not a long-range or theatre-defense module. Its basically made to stop rockets, mortars, and short-range/tactical ballistic missiles - maybe, maybe a medium range ballistic missile.
It's not meant to stop intermediate, long-range, or intercontinental missiles.

But your logic does somewhat apply to Arrow-3, which is the Israeli equivalent of RIM-161, THAAD or GBI.

Except Palestinians want Hamas in power. Abbas' whole purpose is to prevent Hamas from being elected, which is why Israel let's him stave off elections indefinitely.
