I don't know if anyone has posted this already but Rev60's Kickstarter got its first update since March:

This is Natalie here, GSX’s administrator, checking in with some great news!

So for the last several months, we’ve been hard at work on the Revolution 60 PC Port. We’re finally closing in on the final “to-do’s” for getting the game shipped.

We’ve taken the time over the last year to really do everything we possibly could with your criticism and feedback.

We’ve adjusted the costumes for our characters, revamped our animations and made some other really great changes that we can’t wait to show you.

Here are some new images showcasing some of these changes:

We heard some feedback that people were worried we had stopped working, or that the project had stalled out. I assure you We Have Not!

We’re in the process of wrapping up our final videos, testing the typing mechanic, and then we’re off to playtesting!

In fact, WE HAVE SOME NEWS!

We have narrowed down our release date timeframe to…..

OCTOBER!
We’ll be in touch with more updates over the next few weeks as we finalize our details, and get ready to hit that big red “Launch” button.

We know you’ve been patient, and we appreciate each and every one of you who have stood by Revolution 60 and the Giant Spacekat team over the last year, with our tribulations and our triumphs. We can’t wait to share the finished product with you, and we promise, it’s worth the wait.

-The Giant Spacekat Team

I can't wait for October to come and go with no word from Wu because she will be too busy talking about Native American rights or some shit.

I have a very strong feeling that Brianna's got exactly three reasons for going radio silent.

1. She's known about lolcow wiki since June, and even though we have probably the most comprehensive contextualized and sourced article on Wu and her shenannigans, it's all shit that's mostly known already, so the argument she went dark due to it just doesn't make any sense. At best, the argument can be made that other chronicleers of Wu and other people she's stepped on will take away information from it. It's a weapon that works for us because it genuinely doesn't attack her - it merely covers her nonsense and lets facts speak for themselves. Whilst it's not likely that the lolcow wiki itself is responsible per se, the fact that it may have armed others with an axe to grind means Wu's narrative may have cashed in its chips and found itself short. Any user who got suspended because of Wu, any Ghazi user who was banned for daring to point out that Jace wasn't a credible threat, and anyone who can see Wu's aggregate stats on Metacritic now have the equivalent of a shotgun full of explosive shells, free to use as they see fit and loaded with everything they need to punch holes in Miss Wu's arguments.
Synopsis: People Wu does not like have gotten a look at lolcow wiki. Wu is displeased.

2. Brianna's got Rev60's Steam release coming up fast. If she doesn't want this game to get thoroughly Sunset'd, she's going to have to pull out all the stops improving it. That means addressing every issue I discussed - the memory leaks, the poor use of environments, the lack of trailing effects, the audio mixing, the stuttering - all of these will need to be addressed or the PC Gaming crowd will leave Wu's asshole in ruins. Fact is, narrative games are a dime a dozen these days and there's a world of difference between the good ones (Gone Home or Stanley Parable) and the shit ones (Sunset or Dear Esther). Wu is throwing a narrative driven game on a marketplace where other indie devs have overstretched the genre. If she wants to succeed, she's going to need to improve the game in its own right. As stupid as it sounds, her Typing of the Dead-esque action system may be a good idea, since it'll definitely set it apart - but it'll take way more than that to build this house of cards up into something substantial.
Synopsis: Wu is working on Revolution 60. For realz.

3. Wu's been bleeding support, credibility, and power for almost four months. She's been thrown off Ghazi and banned from it. She's been exiled from other Anti-GG communities. Randwhale purportedly hates her. Even with her using all her authority, it isn't enough. Wu is haram within her own community now. Every time she tries to claw her way back to relevance, the spectre of her own misdeeds comes back to haunt her, and she stumbles quickly. In the last two weeks, we've seen Wu get in fights over #BlackLivesMatter and subsequently gotten owned by actual people of color who called her out on her shit, get into a bitch-fight with an Apple major domo, and perhaps most perplexing of all, repeatedly tried to conflate Gamergate with the goings-on in Ferguson and with Donald Trump's candidacy. Even fucking Ghazi mocked that shit.
Synopsis: Wu is doing damage control. Her credibility is close to nil and her arrogance is staggering. Taking a break from Twitter is one of the few things Wu can do to mitigate the damage.

Oh, look. It's the "admin". The "extended leave" lasted less than 5 hours.

The first "important event" is retweeting Arthur Chu.

Arthur wrote "Joss Whedon is right: Twitter is a loud, shallow waste of time — and I’m leaving, too" on May 7, 2015.

Since "leaving", Arthur has tweeted an average of 41 times per day.

I have to wonder how long this phase is going to last. Eventually, Wu is going to see some issue that she feels needs her direct input, and I doubt she'll be able to resist giving her opinion. Here's hoping she breaks character in a suitably embarrassing fashion.

Calling it now, Wu is hiding behind that "admin account" and planning on retweeting a bunch of positive (and biased as hell) press about himself to make it seem like he's worth talking about and will eventually return with some announcement about R60 just to keep the spotlight on himself and make it seem like this isn't just an extended "licking wounds" session.

Well this is JUST DELIGHTFUL!

I believe the post you are referencing is here!
I do believe Arthur may be a little bothered.
But doesn't he know better than to encourage us?
If you think that we're awful,
Or cause for alarm,
You can't get rid of the Kiwi Farms.
We'll wager with you,
We'll make you a bet,
The more that you hate us,
The stronger we'll get.

I have never heard anyone ever say "But he hit me back" as an excuse for punching someone first. Ever. Is Chu actually trying to twist the popular excuse of "But he hit me first" to fit his argument? I don't... what?

Why would you book someone for a VR panel who has never made anything in VR and has only made one game.

I could list 3 more deserving women who create games and artwork in virtual spaces that would fit better on that panel but I don't want to sully their Google results by naming them in a thread cataloging the lies of a talentless hack.

Hmmm... makes one wonder if she knew how much stuff we were archiving on her and realized maybe she should, y'know, act like a functional human being and work on her fucking video game instead of spending every waking existence plugged onto Twitter, waiting for that gravy train with Anita-senpai as the conductor to pick her up and bring her to a higher plane of existence.

Nah...

Well, hoping for the best Mrs. Wu. I'm sure we'll be continuing to monitor your manic flailings about being attacked by GamerGate's secret ninja cadre, or getting a chuckle whenever you talk about positive females game characters all the while hammering on about your game of jawless stilt-walkers with glued on tits and ass cheeks. We will all revel in the way you sculpted hypocrisy, pandering, and outright lying the way other artists would clay.

As the classic game Space Quest IV once said: "Thanks for playing - you've been a real pantload."

(And she'll be back in two days anyway so whatever)

My own suspicion is that the BS with Dalrymple was a bridge too far. She was also talking shit about John Gruber. My guess is that one of her Apple buddies sent her a message to settle down. The like Jim a lot more than they like her.

She's married, Arthur, you sick fuck.

And don't tell us that's not why you're doing it. We've all seen your predelection for sissification and violent trans porn.
Ah, so it's a fetish thing that makes him run to Wu's aid every time. Sorry Arthur, she already has an Asian she tolerates.

I wonder how Chu would react to getting his own well-earned wiki page.:ween:

This is my guess too, she was treading a fine line.

Think she's leaving to let the dust settle, probably delete all the tweets and pretend it never happened. I missed the Gruber tweets though.

Geth is still commenting on that discussion and they are trying to shut him down with repeated accusations of "sealioning".

Typical SJW tactic: when someone is attempting to have a constructive, non-aggressive debate with you and is politely exposing the flaws in your logic throw nonsensical lingo at them in the hope that they'll go away because you simply cannot handle the fact that views other than your own exist.
