1. Cheated on a minecraft speedrun
2. Instead of admitting to cheating, made a bunch of excuses such as a "chat mod" and hired a statistician that proved he cheated as well.

4. Never thought to use the excuse of "oh I accidentally left my mods on" until a year after.

People who have no idea anything about my content or me as a person or my history do too much talking! I'm a Youtuber not a "professional speedrunner", I speedrun against muffinboyhalo & co. for fun and entertainment and have for over a year.
The speedrun that was removed for being invalid from 7 months ago was on my Twitch, with donations off, I'm not even partnered on twitch, and was never uploaded anywhere on any of my channels. I didn't make a dime or gain a single view or subscriber off of it.
Yet it's my "crowning achievement", of which was never mentioned anywhere on any of my platforms except for a single tweet on my 2nd twitter account. It was also the _lowest placing run that I had ever submitted_. It had very little to do with my content, if anything at all.
That doesn't change anything from the speedrun perspective, the speedrun community is a very strict one and that's a super good thing. Just pointing out that it had absolutely nothing to do with my actual content or Youtube, and was just a for fun thing.
Criticism is deserved if anybody makes mistakes, even if they are unintentional. No one is immune to criticism. I could have said nothing at all and continued on, but I chose to say something because I felt it was the right thing to do. I'm glad that I did
I have always played for fun for 11 years and that's why all of my videos are me and my friends goofing off playing Minecraft together. I'll keep making the best content I can and I'll keep growing as a person as I've always tried to do.
If you want reasons to hate someone or to think someone is dishonest, you will find them with anybody. I'll keep on spreading positivity.

The Dev's opinion on speedruns are worthless. The speedrun rules are upheld by the community and enforced by the moderators. I don't give a shit about what some Mojang dev says, or Notch personally comes and cuntsplains his opinions. The dev was also under the impression that Dream was just very lucky, in probably just one run, blows an entire hole in such a dumb argument.

All his following apologetics would have been totally reasonable if he conceded, even after his alleged Harvard Asstrohstatisticsiciansist doubled down.

The mathematics involved, in all due fucking respect, is high school level. Binomial distributions, maybe not, but the Binomial Theory is taught in high school. If he didn't understand it, he either didn't pay attention in class or Americans are fucking retards on education, or both. Statistics is math.

An astrophysicist is good at using math as a tool for physics. A statistician is good as using math for statistics, neither are mathematicians and shouldn't pretend to be one. I've already tried to explain why Markov Methods weren't appropriate for the cheated runs, the physicist was using it because it's popular in physics, that's what he was taught. Nothing wrong with the method, it's just being quite inappropriately applied.

Then the dumbass conflates impartiality with neutrality and unbiased, lol. Well, he's like 20, he'll understand the differences between the 3 when he gets a real fucking job.
