Dream has responded to SomeOrdinaryGamers, and apparently it is "pointless" to make a video denouncing the stan's bullshit in other words he wants more money.
He knows exactly what he's doing.

:story: Nigger just doesn't learn his lessons even when it's the size of a skyscraper running at him at hypersonic speed. I don't know if that speaks of his ego or his overreliance on that Jewtube tugboat. Motherfucker is just a Chris Chan with a little more brain power. :story:

I just scraped it from a twitch vod reupload on youtube, I'll update this post with an edit with it in since it's going to take a while to upload to the site. Edit: Sorry, the file's too big and keeps failing. At least it's on youtube.
In the meantime have a youtube upload.
Why does he mention about writing a cheating confession on a bathtub while wrinkly ass naked. What a fuckin manipulative little faggot to distract your preteen fans by making them horny. In instance like this, i wish teenage girls were neuterized.

He's still going. Something about that SomeOrdinaryGamers tweet from earlier talking about his fanbase tactics must have really set him off.
Does he not see the point that SOG made. Set some boundaries, grow a fucking spine for once in your life, and stop cattering to this horny tweens Clayton, you dumbhicks q-tard.

And rate me MATI for this because good god i feel really pissed after watching the reuploaded VOD of his now my youtube recommendation filled with faggy boyband of his.

Dream is the biggest coper and sorest loser I've ever had the displeasure of seeing become influential. There are a lot of insufferable celebrities out there, but generally as a rule the populace knows that such people aren't well adjusted. Dream however, is somehow allowed to get away with the most brazen megalomaniacal nonsense.

I've heard about the fact that Dream admitted to cheating yet conveniently he "figured out" it was due to a mod he didn't know was running. What gets me about this, is that people I've spoken to have generally taken Dream on his word, without the least bit of critical thought. I asked what their evidence was that Dreams version of events was true, the answer was "He explained it was because of a mod, he didn't know it was running." How convenient, after 5 months Dream couldn't just admit that he cheated at the beginning when it was glaringly obvious to anyone with a working brain. Dream's reputation wouldn't have been tarred to the degree it has been by just saying what he's said recently which would've been, perhaps, more reasonable at the time than 5 months later. But instead he went through all the theatrics of verbally abusing people on Reddit, Twitter and livestreams for calling out what was clearly evident in his speed-run. He allowed the people who proved definitively that he cheated be mocked and bullied (he also participated), he hired a fake PhD to write a phoney paper defending his speed-run, and then has the gall to come out and expect us to believe he did cheat but he just "didn't know"? Fuck that for a joke. There's no reason his word should be trusted on this.

The man should be suspected of being a liar, not someone who only now is telling the truth. No person who makes an honest mistake could possibly go to all the effort to defend himself as Dream did in order to defend an action he apparently had no clue of. If that was the case, then Dream would've honestly taken on board what his critics had to say and came clean after investigating for himself what the situation was. It still would've been hard to believe he had a mod installed and didn't know it, but it wouldn't have been as hard to believe as it is currently, because of all the effort he went to defend himself. I personally find it hard to believe he took so long to realise it was due to a mod, since I'm fairly certain such a possibility was discussed months ago, he seems to have had ample opportunity to admit to being wrong, but didn't do so.

What this really shows is that even if Dream is telling the truth, he's so utterly obstinate to anyone who might have grounds to question his authenticity, that he will go to great lengths to avoid admitting when he's wrong, or when he might be to blame. The excuse I've seen make the rounds, is that Dream took so long to come out and admit to the fact he used a mod because he was "too proud" to admit it, this doesn't hold up. I've heard this excuse before and it falls apart when you realise that Dreams entire persona as a genuine and understanding guy, comes from the times on twitter where he'd been called out for not worshipping coloured people and fags enough, when he's been politically "insensitive". In such instances Dream and his ilk prostrate themselves to the mob to repent for their actions, in the eyes of his fans this shows Dream is willing to admit when he's wrong. Not so. It simply shows Dream is willing to "admit" to being wrong about issues he doesn't care about, because when Dream is forced into a corner to admit to being wrong about something he did care about (speed running) he denied it to the utmost, and attempted to voraciously stave off having to admit any wrong doing which isn't characteristic of his persona as a reasonable, honest, and genuine guy. It actually proves the opposite, or at least goes some way to show that Dream isn't the person he pretends to be.

Another thing which makes the aforementioned excuse even more untenable, is that not wanting to admit when you're wrong after going to such lengths to defend yourself, isn't nearly as bad as what Dream actually did to defend himself in the first place. Hiring a pajeet (presumably) with a fake PhD is undoubtedly the most ridiculous and embarrassing thing you could've done, it makes you look way worse than just not wanting to admit you're wrong. At least the latter is something everyone at one point or another is guilty of, but I'd wager most people aren't in the habit of creating fake websites and manufacturing evidence in our own favour to muddy the waters and circumvent admitting to our faults.

To anyone who might say that Dream vindicated himself because he did - albeit belatedly - admit to having cheated, then I only have one thing to say to you. If Dream thought he could've gotten away with it, then I don't think he would've admitted to anything. The fact is that the evidence was so monstrously out of his favour, that the only way he could've turned the table into a lie he could defend was by admitting to having cheated, but in such a way as to remove any blame from himself that could lead to the conclusion that he cheated intentionally. This removes the black cloud of suspicion above his head, and provides the public with a way to reconcile the ridiculous odds of his speed-run, and Dreams claim that he was innocent of the accusations levelled against him. Now he only needs to defend an unfalsifiable assertion he invented for himself. It then works in his favour, because many people are just willing to buy into it. Dream ultimately wins because he can pretend to have maintained his persona by "admitting" to having cheated, yet not sew the consequences of having done so on purpose. Everything Dream does is to advance his own interests and make himself look as good as possible.

TL;DR: Dreams word that he "is telling the truth this time guys, honest" isn't proof that he's telling the truth, or that his version of events are true. There's more than enough reason to be sceptical, if not downright dismissive of his self-serving apologia. Dream is the Albert Speer of Minecraft youtubers, "it happened, I just didn't know about it". Although what Dream admitted to actually happened, and what Speer claimed to have happened most certainly didn't. That seems to be the only difference between them.

Despite what I've said before in this thread (stans being zoomer retards), I'd wager that some stans or at least some terminally online b-list youtubers have found the thread, considering Dream's face appeared on one of their Twitters.

Besides that, any time I've seen the dox or anything related to it mentioned on Twitter it's assumed to be fake by his stans. My memory is foggy but I think Dream 'disavowed' the dox's legitimacy in his January Twitlonger reply to Team Rooted... Or he may have done it elsewhere considering how no one ever seems to believe the dox when it resurfaces every now and again. At least there's mountains of evidence in this thread pointing to it being legit.
Would it be worth it to try and rewrite the OP? With all of the new information that's come out over the last five months (it's only been five months?) the current OP is almost a disservice to the rest of the thread, no offense to @Null .

Not only do we have the new confession and ensuing damage control meltdown, but we have his (rough) past on MC forums, some of his time as a poster on The Donald, his pedophile ex-girlfriend (who designed his current logo lol), him taking credit for the PewDiePie world seed, his sketchy connections to Doxbin, the John Swan debacle & Dream's ensuing hypocrisy, the shitty/stolen merch/art & the just shitty music, and the diequick23 face reveal (and I guarantee I'm forgetting something). There is more than enough material to work with, anybody up to collabing?

Thinking about it, why didn't Dream's plugin dev just send Dream a message saying "Are you sure you disabled the plugin?" or something to that tune? In the livestream, Dream says he didn't even know what the plugin did which is such a retarded way to dismiss it but ignoring that, obviously the guy who wrote it knew what it did and knew Dream had used it since Dream did at least one video with it.

It's pretty absurd how none of what he says holds water and he acts like he's the victim even still.

Also fun that a few times he caught himself beginning to shit on someone (usually minecraft speedrun mods) and then cutting himself off and saying how great they are and how they've resolved their issues, but then flips right back with a "but...". He just can't help himself, I wonder if he's totally unaware of how much of an asshole he is.

CordWit made a response (Archive)

I can't wait for the inevitable reply where Dream snarks at him, an onslaught of stans come in to harass Cord, Dream retrospectively does the bare minimum to "disavow" it, and then the cycle repeats when he snarks at some other account criticizing him.
(for posterity's sake)

Actually pretty surprised that CordWit's coming out and saying that, he's one of the people that's been trying to give Dream more chances to redeem himself.

So where do you guys see this going? In my opinion, dreams controversy is gonna be one of the major factor that kills Minecraft (again).
He's already well on his way to a legit meltdown, what with a bunch of creators coming out of the woodwork to point out how much of an ass he's being and him being unable to effectively damage control. I doubt this will kill Minecraft, because nothing really killed it last time beyond a general lack of interest that grew over time, but who knows.

Dream admitted to cheating, kinda late if you ask me

I bet he wrote this to take the heat off Scott and HBomb which is even funnier
Jesus christ. This mother fucker did the equivalent of war and peace to say "Hey guys, so I didn't know at the time, but, some files were modded and it wasn't legit, my B."

Shoulda done the Chad move. "I cheated, I don't regret it."

I don't think it's remotely going to kill Minecraft. To the level of interest now? Yeah probably, since most of Dream's fans don't care about Minecraft. However youtube series like Hermitcraft and Scicraft (the peak minecraft autism series) gained a ton of popularity during the pandemic and I have a feeling it's going to stay that way since fans of those series care more about the inner workings of the game itself since that's what their main focus is.

However I can see the Dream SMP and shit like that drying up in views as Dream slowly loses more and more popularity when his "kittens" grow up.

I don’t see it being the end of Minecraft. As for Dream, everything will depend on his behavior from now on reputation wise. I don’t see it impacting his YouTube channel much.
But since he reads this tread, I don’t want to give him good advice.

Grown man cheats at video game 8 year olds most affected. Seriously though it’s mine craft why does any of them actually care? Outside of ads and merch did he steal money directly from peoples pockets? Has he diddled kids or gave a pet vodka to drink?

“His stans are harassing me” Grow up. If there was ever an example of a nothing burger this is it.
