Just to dox him? Jim made some enemies over the years. There are people who would probably legitimately pay for this guy to be beaten senseless, MAYBE even killed.

Fits Jim to kind of joke about his situation. I can tell he knows its fucked but...humor at least helps, right? Or at least it doesnt make it worse. I doubt Jim is the type of person that wants his last days on Earth (if its the case, of course) to be filled with fear and anxiety.

Jim reminds me of Feste from the Shakespearean comedy, Twelfth Night.

In a play where practically every character displays strong lolcow tendencies, Feste moves among them dispensing observational witticisms, seemingly them untouched by their madness. He ends the performance by breaking the forth wall in song. I am uncertain what song Jim will sing on his deathbed to awaken us all from the Matrix. Ram Ranch, perhaps, or Don't Be Rama Rama.
