Trump Enslavement Syndrome - Orange man good. /r/The_Donald and any public demonstration of rabid pro-Trump enthusiasm in spite of all reason.

Any chance they'll just move on to one of his kids?
Maybe Ivanka? Maybe Baron? I don't think Don Jr or the other one, Eric, have the personality or chops to gain the admiration of the masses who idolize Trump. Trump is also a very special, man of his time type phenomenon.

If you see who supports him - mostly older Gen X white males - it's easy to see why they love him so much. They grew up with him. Trump has always been a force in their lives, from the 80s onward. Not to PL too much, but I was a kid in the 90s, and Trump was very much always in the news - he was freshly divorced. He was in everything - tv, porn, hotels, casinos, fashion shows (big '90s thing), magazines, etc. Just everywhere. And always a persona...fake and big and flashy.

Neither Don Jr. nor Eric have fanboys in their 20s and 30s fawning after their every move. Ivanka, maybe? Baron? Could happen, but like in 40 years.

He shut it down permanently cause he was tired of everyone making fun of it.
I still don't get how that's possible when he also claims no one was reading it. Doesn't that kind of contradict itself? Hell, I don't think I've even seen the media go after it. So maybe it was the QAnon followers and his family making fun of it this time?

Truly the name Trump has the smell of success.

It's weird he hasn't chose TikTok from the beginning, since it's obvious he is quite histrionic.
Hell, all the religious weirdos who claim the rapture's coming soon are on there, I'm sure they'd appreciate him given they're just as crazy and pathetic.

That's just the way Trump is: he's thinks that he's always gonna come out on top even if he puts no effort into trying because he's so AWESOME.
It's easy to think like that when you've had literally everything in life handed to you. Trump may like to play the part of the shrewd businessman on television, but the truth is that his wealth is inherited.

He's a shrewd con artist, and his game has always been the same. First, talk a bunch of shit and get media attention. It doesn't matter how dumb the shit is, so long as it focuses on rich, flamboyant successful guy says whatever. Punch up, like he did with Ronald Reagan and every succeeding President, so you get more attention because of your target.

Then get people to invest in your scheme named after yourself, based on the idea that Trump is a successful brand.

Then strip the company of everything and when it flops, like virtually every one of his schemes, walk away leaving the sucker "investors" holding the bag. The man managed to bankrupt a casino in fucking Atlantic City, that's how successful a "businessman" he is. Just the list of shit he got people to "invest" money in is hilarious. Vodka, steaks, bottled water. I mean how the fuck do you fuck up bottled water?

The only thing the man has successfully sold in his life is himself, and I guess I have to hand it to him, he did it well enough to end up President despite being the most woefully unsuited man in history for the job, with the possible exception of James Buchanan.

Buchanan at least had some redeeming qualities about him, and only really truly fucked up in the last hours of his presidency. Now, that massive absolutely crazy fuckup cements him in the basement of presidents, but at least he had successful rounds in other political offices and had diplomatic experience. He was a well educated man. Just not one suited to the situation he ended up in.

Trump exceeds him in unsuitability for the office in every single category.

Trump managed it in the most hilarious way possible. He packaged premium priced water in plastic bottles. Better still, you absolutely know it had to be Trump's idea. Nobody with even an ounce of sense would have done that. If he'd just picked a random hobo off the street and made them CEO of Trump Water they would have done a better job. The only way that possibly could have happened is if Trump himself was directly involved in the design.

They look exactly like what you'd expect if you ordered a case of branded water from one of those print your logo on a million things websites. I'd drink one of those if it were given to me free at a conference, but nobody in their right minds would buy it.

You still are talking about President Trump 5 months after he has been out of office. You also keep prattling on about how "unqualified" he was... without providing a single shred of evidence on exactly how he was "unqualified"
PS, he was not "unqualified" nor "ineffective"

PPS, he was not responsible for a single covid related death. There is zero evidence of that.. so please stop repeating that particular lie.

PPPS, this is a list of his actual accomplismhents as President...written by one of you fucking ungreatful, retarded Trump haters... https://www.nytimes.com/2020/09/11/opinion/fact-check-trump.html

I'm not quoting to reply, I'm quoting to present this as TES.
