The whole "fighting wars for Israel" is just a tired meme. It was never correct yet it keeps popping up. If anything it's doubly annoying since the USA toppling Iraq for Oil fucked up the entire region for two decades.
That's what Israel wants. Taking out Iraq was one of the key parts of the jew PNAC's "rebuilding America's defenses" report.

Tell me a war the USA fought for Israel (unless you mean how toppling Iraq fucked the region)
I'm sure that Israel had no hand at all in getting USA to depose the last guy in the region who opposed the camp david accord and who was still committed to opposing israel actively.

Somehow Israel is still the victim of the "area being fucked" when the strongest military in the world takes out their biggest current threat.

What @Lemmingwise said with an important addition:

That had the third largest military at the time of the first Gulf war.

The last time Saddam had actually attacked Israel was ten years prior. And deposing him massively increased Iran's power (who also doesn't like Israel) rather than had the two countries focused on each other. The resulting Arab Spring nearly caused Egypt to go against the peace accord after its ruler was deposed (luckily didn't happen).
Maybe if Iraq was the only country to oppose Israel it would have made sense, but changing the power structure of the entire middle east makes absolutely no tactical sense.

Both isreal and Iran have the same geopolitical goals in the middle east: a divided and weak arab world.

Iran, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia also hated Saddam.
Shit even Jordan and Turkey weren't fans and wanted him gone.

Why not go full William Buckley and argue that NATO should have done a preemptive nuclear strike against the USSR in 1949?

No Soviet Union, Warsaw pact, DPRK, Cuban revolution or Communist China. Probably no Israel, either.
Israel was founded in 1948. By early 1949 the Arab armies were practically destroyed.

Disrupting the power structure of a region doesn't benefit an unaffected nation? Do you actually believe that shit or do you think we would?
"God's chosen" continue to flaunt their hubris :story:

The resulting instability as a result of Saddams fall has been DISASTROUS for Israel. now they have to deal with Iranians and their allies directly on their borders and a stronger enemy than it had before

If kuwait had enough influence in the US government that calling for a boycott of kuwait was illegal and if kuwaiti operatives were caught dancing at the site that was the cassus bellus and kuwaiti religious leaders would tell new york kuwaiti to not donate blood to americans during 9/11 and if the wealthiest foreign political influence group in washington was kuwaiti, yeah, I'd probably be posting about pernicious kuwaiti influence instead.

I mean the second world war was disastrous for germany too, but that doesn't mean they didn't start shit.

What was the nationality of the dancing people at the cassus bellus site again?
