I'm still not exacty sure what the fuck happened but even without watching today I knew that Cuphead was going to be a shitshow. It's assumed that Calli was hosting and Gura was joining via Steam Share or whatever the fuck they're calling it. I did that before with the exact same game with a friend in Germany, and it was fucking awful. We still had fun but I could tell she was lagging like crazy. There's not much you can do about that and Calli really didn't prepare well for that shit. She needs to cut back on something,

I was there, saw it all unfold with my own two eyes.

The cuphead part was scuffed, the lag was bad enough for Gura she couldn't do anything besides shoot in one direction and die, but as for chemistry they were ok.

Phasmo was ok too, although I don't really enjoy that game so I was watching it in another monitor. They were cracking jokes all the time, but you could tell calli was worried about how they were performing (they chose a new map that was too big, then a small map that wasn't really that eventful)

I get where she's coming from tho, but I think she's had worse streams. Although I agree she should've tested things a few hours in advance to avoid scuffs like this (and to choose a better alternative than cuphead)

Seems like no satisfactory answer come by, here and Twitter. Really want to know what Calli was like that prompted her apology and privating the stream. Judging by her condition my guess is that Calli was genuinely angry and being toxic.

The stream it-self was fine.I think Calli privated the video because a huge part of it was them trying to figure out how to make the co-op work with shitty internet connection. That and having to delay the stream to work out the technical difficulties is why I think she felt the need to apologize. Of course to many of us it wasn't really a problem because we already had more than enough streams to consume. I was at the same time having a blast watching Reine and Kiara terrorizing people in the Untitled Goose Game.

God, these fags are obnoxious, I'm starting to think Kiara and Calli have the most overbearing fans of the group.

The thing I've noticed is fans either talk about all the hard times they've been through and how brave and strong they are for making it this far, or how they are so inspiring and such gifted unique people and they've actually done xyz so no matter what their quality as a streamer is is irrelevant. Less of talking about actual streams and more of the person playing the character.

I get it. Having a scuffed stream because of tech issues is not a big issue. But having one because you're completely unprepared and make bad choices, yeah I understand wanting to get rid of that stream asap.

Here’s the problem: people only ever focus on the ones who kiss too much ass or the ones who create rrats and shittalk then for the smallest mistake of issue. Because those are the ones easier to mock or complain about. You rarely are about the ones in the middle, because they’re not as interesting to talk about.

Calli doesn’t need to be overly coddled, but she doesn’t need to be heavily scolded either.
