I'm very curious on how this is going to work out actually. A big part of schooled is having a facecam on as an anti cheat system, and I doubt Dream is going to do a "face reveal" on OTK. Unless they make him use an eyetracker, and share his screen to make sure his eyes don't leave whatever he's writing on (which even then isn't fool proof), I can see big boy easily winning.

I’m not surprised that Dream is fat, there would be no other reason for him to go to such extreme lengths to hide his appearance. Dream somehow has the ability to fuck up in almost every way imaginable, and yet still remains extremely popular with a rabid fan base.

He submitted cheated speed runs and inevitably was caught, and refused to admit to it enraging one of the most autistic and obsessive communities on the internet. Then he continued to double down for months, only to admit the truth in the most pathetic way possible.

He decided to use his younger brother to model merch for him in order to maintain the bizarre twink fantasy that’s rampant in his teenage twitter fan base, when he could have just admitted to being fat all along.

His crazy fans weren't going to stop watching his videos because of how he looks, and if anything being fat probably only would have only made him seem more relatable to the insecure preteens that likely result in the majority of his views on YouTube.

With the the level of success he achieved so quickly it seems like he really could have been the next big internet star, maybe even rivaling or surpassing his idol Pewdiepie. But now no matter how popular he gets now people will always remember the fact that he cheated and faked his appearance, and no one outside of his fan base will actually respect him

Serious talk: he's not that bad looking. A guy can be overweight and still be considered relatively attractive. Not to mention that there's plenty of mediocre-looking or even largely unattractive Youtubers who simply don't give a shit and just be themselves, and their self-confidence makes them likeable despite their appearance.

The problem, of course, is that "meh to okay-looking" is not good enough. He has literally millions of creepy fans who need to believe he's some long-haired sparkly-eyed anime sexy boy. Normal people could accept that their long-time Youtube idol is just some regular fat boy, but normal people don't wish to eviscerate their idols and turn them into sex-chairs.
