The OG Old School bolsheviks were very entrenched in the "progressive" sexual ideas. Free love, sexual liberation etc. All of the female revolutionaries were hardcore feminists.
The clamp down on sexuality in USSR came only in about very early 1930s, first official raid against homosexuals was in 1933, the same year it was criminalized. 1920s were turbulent era in USSR, there were sexual marches, like the naked demonstrations of nudists.

I'm always surprised by the alliance between troons and Marxism, similar to the alliance between feminists and islam. Marx and Engels considered "woman" to be another sort of class, and that you couldn't just identify your way into or out of a class, you were just born into it.
Lots of old school hard line Marxists hate troonerism as well, they see it as liberal decadence, a big pharma money making scheme, a distraction from class struggle ect.
