Cocos mom went back to the US to take care of her grandparents who are suffering from dementia a few months ago. Things took a turn for the worse so now Coco and her dad are moving back to the US as well where Coco will become EN2 manager.
Man this sucks. Coco is what dragged me in.
I'd agree if it was any other illness or injury.
Dementia doesn't get better as times goes on it gets worse. You can't just say I'm gonna take a break for 2 weeks or 2 months and come back when everything is better. There isn't going to be a better.
It's a slow process that takes years.
However this is just my rrat and I'm just trying to grasp at straws because I'm pretty fucking sad.
I agree with this. My grandma has signs and progressively dementia like symptoms. I'm being pressured to return home to spend time with her, of which my family and I don't really know how much she has. Which.. pains me to make that decision because I'm trying to complete my degree. The choice between finishing up my degrees and spending time with my grandma before she possibly passes. Not to mention my granddad's failing health too. It's a really hard choice between keeping a career path vs spending time with your family.
I'm throwing my hat into the rrat she's returning to the US to spend time with her grandparents and that's not something you can quite keep a high energy/be your streamer self knowing a few doors down your family member is losing a part of themself and/or might just keel over.
If anything, Fubuki coming in to run interference makes me think this actually is a more amicable situation that we would initially assume. Bless her.
Who knows, she might slip a quick "Its ok, Cover is still ok. Coco's graduating because she truly wants to"... or she could slip "Abandon ship". who knows.

I think we're forgetting Taiwan. Fuck the mainlanders. But Taiwan's pretty much got Cover's back after the debacle iirc. That or Cover def has gone down the wrong path.
I'm pretty shellshocked. But after the Taiwan fiasco.. I kinda steeled myself that there will be a day that Coco and/or Haachama will graduate. And that day has come.
I'm cracking open the scotch, pouring one out for Coco. I'm also gonna go out and smoke a full 20 pack. See you kiwis in a bit.
EDIT: and to repeat myself.. I will truly abandon Cover the day both Fubuki and Korone graduate. Nothing left for me tbh when both of them graduate.
