So here's my rather crude translation on Narukami's video.
He had multiple inside sources saying Coco would be graduating but one of them in particular denies that Coco was leaving on her terms. The reason being China related with a part of management's racism, harassment, and persistent attempts at getting rid of her. Went on to explain the major premise of this is that within Cover's shareholders and sponsors are also Chinese(I don't know how to translate this part well so take it with a grain of salt) who never liked Coco ever since she debuted since she was American. Gives an example like Coco wasn't able to stream on Bilibili because she was ignored when she asked them(the Chinese) how to stream there.

Next, Coco actually wanted to apologize and explained what happened when the Chinese blew up, wanting to say that she had no idea that she wasn't suppose to mention Taiwan as a separate country. Aqua and Pekora had similar problems before her and Cover released a statement to the Chinese shareholders, sponsors, and audience that they will discpline their talents but apparently they hadn't. If Coco actually explained that time then that would expose Cover on not disciplining their talents on the subject and the faults would go to them so they had to stop her from doing it and put her on suspension instead. After that, the angry Chinese shareholders forced Cover to release a statement covering that One China Policy shit. "Results were a disaster"(that's putting it midly). During that time they also put the blame on the streamers for showing their channel's statistics but even then there are streamers in the past who read their analytics. Apparently the streamers and management argued about this and the management that sided with the Chinks conspired to get Coco to leave.

Goes on to list the stuff they did to Coco such as not taking any action against harassments and threats saying its her problem, purposely not having her on the main hololive streams, and refusing her plans like collabing with EN. Apparently Coco began to notice something's not right on 11/27 when she tweeted the phrase "Kiryu Coco will protect Kiryu Coco" by not streaming for awhile. She came back on 12/14 but was still being harassed and they still didn't do anything about it. Normally the official site would release news when a streamer reaches a subscriber milestone but Coco never got one when she reached a million. Because fans were getting suspicious they unwillingly made the news about it although very late. Coco has never been in HoloGra ever since the incident and even before that she only had 2 appearances if not counting her 3d announcement. The most damning evidence was when many antis were made mods on her streams. Because of this, it broke her and decided to leave and when she told management that, the harassments stopped and allowed her to collab with EN and other stuff they restricted her from doing. The insider then say they will take this opportunity to return to the Chinese markets.

Take this with a grain of salt since this seems more like a conspiracy theory than the truth. It may seem convincing but remember, they burned a whole division for Coco. Also again rather crude translations and I'm very much sleepy so there's mistakes to be bound and I might miss something so I'd appreciate feedback from anyone else that knows JP.

I just woke up, FUCK!
This is just like Gibara, something must have happened. She was fine during her collab stream for fuck sake!
And I'm pretty sure Kanata must have known about it since she wrapped up her stream right before Coco's announcement
On gibara's case, she just came back as a neet playing uma musume based on her roommate's account

Imagine waking up just to see one of the biggest and most influential talents in her industry suddenly retiring.

I don't know how many of these are Ching Chong companies other than HTC (but even the.. HTC is a Taiwanese company) but I'm willing to go on a limb to say most are Japanese. So unless there's alot of of "Other Individual Investors" from mainland and are some of the biggest whales Cover has.. this theory holds very little water. My 2 cents.

I'm just so zoned out and need to sleep to pretend to be a functioning meatbag tomorrow. I'm out my fellow kiwis. I suspect this thread would move about 20 pages when I awake

Apparently both Miko and Choco also tried to talk Coco out of graduating, sounds to me like it was voluntary.

If Choco and Mio couldnt convince her to stay, then it means she had made her mind a while ago.
Either that or she is being tremendously pressured into retirement by higher ups, but I doubt Coco of all people would take that lying down.

Can you please confirm what she's saying in this clip?

Whereas Kiara did get raped:

Yeah, this is way too fake. Again, if the chinese shareholders really have such a power to harass and isolate Coco like that, Cover wouldn't have burned bridges with bilibili/China. They have lots of deal cancelled because of the West Taiwan incident, if some of the shareholders really hates Coco, they would have fired her instead

Your summary of Narukami's video is accurate. Thanks for writing this up.

What a way to mark 1500 pages.

Don't really follow Coco's content closely now but her 3D debut highlights got me in the rabbit hole.

Apparently both Miko and Choco also tried to talk Coco out of graduating, sounds to me like it was voluntary.
Calling it right now: Someone gave Coco the casting couch and now she's running for the hills

Not to make light of it if it's true but I can't see it any other way. She's not gonna say she was given the Weinstein Wine because she wants to protect her frens but something happened. You don't turn down potentially millions of dollars annually and a career cross-platform that nets you merch, an anime, potentially more job opportunities in voice acting (unless Hololive forbids you branching out in its contract, which would be another reason to leave since in Japan voice acting gets you mega money) and further.
Someone diddled the dragon. I almost guarantee it.

I think what really blows is that it kind of gives me an eternal feeling of uncertainty.
If Coco can just open graduate out of the blue despite how well things seem to have been going then there's nothing stopping anyone else from just jumping ship too.
Something like Mori or another Talent leaving is something that can realistically just happened now
