General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

If anyone wants to know what Coco talked about on her zatzudan stream, I made a post on page 1508 I edited throughout the stream with new things she said.
So far today the kson ONAIR channel has gotten 92 thousand subscribers, bringing her up to 325k.
It won't be right away, it may not be till by the end of the year, but we're getting her that 1mil celebration. I am damn well positive.

Woke up to a dark and stormy morning..

This stream has genuinely helped me process her graduation. Now it seems like it could've really been her own decision, because she seems much more laid back than I first imagined after hearing the announcement. I suppose people will tear up, especially her genmates, but that's completely understandable given the circumstances and doesn't mean she's been bullied out by chinks or something family-related came up. Fans need to cool off a little bit, download everything just in case and enjoy Coco livestreams until the end.

I was in two minds about this whole thing. Now I'm kind of settling onto it being a good thing in the long term. Seeing just how massive the support from Kson has been in the last hour alone and looking at a few of her older streams, I'm reasonably convinced that the image of the giant titty dragon is really all we're losing here. I actually like her Kson avatar better because it doesn't have that very strange facial animation that Coco has which always looked weirdly low-resolution and lazily done to me. She can do whatever the hell she likes now without having to deal with Cover and their nonsense, and she has enough presence that even if they tried pretending she never existed, the fan backlash alone would be devastating.

So yeah, I'm on the side of 'this is a good thing' here. I'd much rather have an entertainer doing what empowers her than forcing content in a field she's not having fun with anymore. Her audience knows where to get more of her, and her Coco and Kson personas were quite interchangeable.

Thanks for your hard work man. It's not a surprise they would stop selling her merchandise after this, although the change of statement regarding memberships streams should be noted for archivers
Indeed, this really seems like something planned for quite some time, and I don't really think she's graduating on bad blood from what we know now. I still hope for the possibility that she could return someday, however

Just a random rainbow moment but I absolutely love how much fun Coco is having lately with all these collabs and Minecraft shenanigans. I also thought adding Ollie to the Mario Party mix was a great idea and the meme review disaster is long forgotten.
I guess it's all my fault.

Anyway Amelia on shitpost review hell yeah!

When next member of gen4 graduate, will we get Coco cameo on that member last live?
Something like this commonly happens in traditional idol scene.

I fully agree with this. Taking a step back and getting an overview of the situation helps one put the pieces together. She's leaving on friendly terms & this is either a very elaborate lie that several girls, including Coco herself, are in on or she decided to leave on her own volition. I'll go with the latter.
We'll be losing big tit dragon persona and a lot of clippers probably wont touch Kson because they like staying to an image, but she'll be around. I think Taichi will follow so we'll have LiveTL when he's online too. I hope we get some crazy shit when she's free.

"her new channel"
"REINCARNATED"
What a self-important faggot, gah, what I would give to have the chance to drag him to Hell myself.
I guess it's all my fault.

Don't say sorry, your sentiments there are how we should be handling this. If you still have that light and optimism, I ask you to guard it better than gold.

You people are overthinking it. Coco wants to leave but also doesn't want to blow up Hololive because her friends are in it. This is the only way to do it without making people hate Cover. We don't know anything about how she actually feels about management because she is not going to fuck up all her friends careers no matter how badly management might have treated her. Her entire stream is telling us to keep watching Hololive and support the idols.

Figuring out how talent can quit without sinking the ship is going to be her last contribution to Hololive whether Cover deserves it or not.
