Clownfish TV / Thomas & Kambrea Pratt / Kneon & Geeky Sparkles - The Self-Proclaimed Nemeses of Kevin Smith, Profiting off of Nerd Outrage, Part of the Fandom Menace, Gaslit by a Cartoon

What a bullshit clickbait title, IGNORE THE WEST.....ern political correctness.

It doesn't bother japanese companies they already know how to address things.

These two desperately want to make Japanese media out to be the way of the future, don't they? Meanwhile there are several outlets that question the legitimacy of claims that manga is out-selling comic books - and I honestly wonder myself.

As an example, Adult Swim currently runs the only anime-focused television block to my knowledge, and here are the numbers for last weekend's results.

It's pretty bad when new episodes of Batwoman are outperforming some of the biggest names in the anime landscape right now. Now obviously, this alone doesn't prove that anime is a dying genre in the West - but that's exactly my point. There's honestly not enough information available to blindly claim one is definitively more popular than the other - but Clownfish TV will use whatever statistics it can get to claim just that. And as I've stated in Jeremy's thread - anime just isn't what it used to be. Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh!, flagships of the genre, can't even find homes on networks anymore and have had to settle for steaming premieres - Yu-Gi-Oh! taking many years to find one as new episodes have already aired in Canada and Australia years in advance. The success of one title (Demon Slayer) doesn't outright mean anime in general is outperforming anything else. If that was the case, why would AT&T sell off Crunchyroll? Just doesn't add up to me so I'm calling BS.

Even more ironic that AT&T sold Warner Bros media at a loss so I'm like if AT&T is doing well? Why cut the fish out for a few years now? Niggas can't blame this on Trump this time given this is Biden era. Clownfish TV can't even live to save their lives.

Agreed, and the thing is anime and manga are still niche and most normies I know are not
anime watchers. If they are cable cutters they are watching the live action shows on Netflix. It is a tough sell to get them on board with watching anything animated.

I think part of the reason the MCU was so popular was because it was not animated, So more people were willing to give it a chance.

Uh oh, Kneon and Geeky are pissed because they didn't get tickets to attend... Disney World's Boo Bash.

The two go on to say how Disney is "abusive" to their fans and spend the large majority of the video ranting about how bad some of the attractions are and the ridiculous prices... all of this despite them trying to buy these tickets that are apparently $100 per head. They claim they wanted to go because they needed to cover it (despite later claiming that they'll just have someone else do it), but c'mon. No one is going to Pirates & Princesses for attraction reviews. Their trending page gives a very good indication what their viewers really want to see:

Screenshot_20210608-153222_Chrome.jpg

I'll never get tired of seeing just how addicted Kneon and Geeky are to Disney despite how much they criticize them. Normal sane people tend to find better ways to occupy their time, but these two probably would lose all meaning to their lives if it was without Disney. It's really quite sad that there are people that committed to paying several hundred dollars just to hang out with people in Disney character outfits for a few hours.

If I'm reading that right...that is 12:00 midnight, are they trying to get Japanese viewers or something? Cause most normal kids would be in bed asleep.
they sadly are and also speaking of Japan.

Perfectly segway for this bullshit. At this point? They should move to Japan and become mangakas and see how they like having hard work over there? I think they really want Japanese viewers so they pull this shit!

I've watched them for a while now off and on and the one thing that shocked me in the OP was Geeky's age, she does not sound that age especially in videos where she is whining (her voice gets very shrill, I can't think of a good example off the top of my head but it happens fairly often).
Her voice is actually very typical for her kind. It's set to 'screaming over others.' It's a survival mechanism womanlets develop that they can't turn off after a while.

I know people in this thread keep debating whether or not they're cows. Their majority fanbase certainly are. But we're adjusted to cows who work in perverted extremes, wheras these are people who are clawing the walls for relevancy and money, validity of their content be damned.

I used to listen to their videos for background noise. But, after a while, Geeky's shrieking wears on you.

What milk they do have, if you can call it that, is the lack of self-awareness over the audience they've draw in. You'd think they'd ever read their comments. If they did, they'd know why people keep pegging them as alt-right, where their videos keep getting them pegged as far left. They keep trying to come off as if they've cleverly straddled a neutral middle ground. In reality, they've drawn in some of the worst ends of the Horseshoe Theory. Kneon's reaction to being classified as a right wing channel was hilarious.

So are you retards just going to post every bland, boring click bait pop culture video made by a couple of middle aged bloggers with like, a single sentence comment bitching about it (and often without even that)?
Why not just mirror all of youtube?
Or better yet, why not just go and post your bitching in their comments?

This are just the last 10, there are at least twice as many posts like this.

Of course, they will shill for manga cause it's not like Japan has ever made shitty manga that sucks ass before? :/

These niggas think Kevin Smith cares for them. Only time Kevin Smith even notice them was when they made that video about rumors of the He-Man series at the time. :/

Ironic this the type of shit they want when people attack them over feelings of Berserk. :/

If Clownfish TV became an alien channel now I'm so losing my mind over this bullshit.

they sadly are and also speaking of Japan.

If it bothers you so much, why not just avoid this thread? If you actually looked, you would see not every video is shared here - just the ones that lend themselves to the trends we have been noticing on their channel. Seems like a non-issue to me personally.

They should just convert their blog into one about anime and manga, they clearly have a hard-on for the genre and it's "success". They're obviously unhappy with Disney's current direction but seem incapable of walking away from the brand - whether it be from sheer obsession or a petty grudge. Like, who spends 11 hours trying to get tickets to see some ridiculous Halloween bash costing well over $100 per head?

Screenshot_20210608-195709_Twitter.jpg

Meanwhile Disney has the best case scenario here; they no longer have these two dolts on the payroll and are getting paid by them to "review" the attractions for a blog no one actually uses. Hilarious.

So basically Disney on suicide watch.
Naw fam I would say disney has better chance of finishing consolidation meme - (yes i mean it on consalidation with disney getting more meetle & hasbro property for movies including :my little poney, cabage patch, brats, hotwheel.)
More than suicide watch.
in current year we have a another women with period blood & armpit swing powers for comic make less money than more diversity comics from marvel.
Clownfish on the down trend people are losinng half hope on anything major happping DC,marvel,Disney.
Most their talk about disney parks-HOHUM hope disney get their kaarma.
disney can bleed but, will do fine do pixie magic.

I think milliena learened to pirate or watch from main source instead of wait weeks for dub companies to dub.
It must be worst on the adultswim website when back my day i would watch adult swim late for cowboy beeboop or BigO.

I would like to agree with you since while shitting on their shit takes is very warranted, it does get a bit repeatative. However, this response is the most retarded way to go about it.

It's funny how in this video Kneon admits he's hard to work with. Also my notifications seem to be bust when it comes to this thread

Sorry for the double post but "anime is not political" my arse. I remember Ouran High School Host Club and that was absolutely queer as hell, in fact one of the characters had a parent that became a trans woman so that the daughter could continue to have a motherly influence in her life.
Also this was allowed to air on the kids channel in Australia

Oh yeah, because Disney is just so desperate to boost those numbers, they choose to partner with an obscure app and offer the deal for only 24 hours. Because it's not like other streaming services do limited-time promotions, right?

I swear, Bob Iger could sneeze in their direction and they would interpret it as a financial failure. And is anyone else amused that Geeky's article only stands to help Disney sell more subscriptions now than they would have otherwise? Again, Disney doesn't even have to pay them for all this additional help.
