11 animators and none of them bothered to check for errors before posting
Conspiracy theory; with this many people involved Dream wasn't paying or paid them dirt cheap, and as a result no one really wanted to give a shit beyond "presentable" quality.

I think the number of people involved really speaks to Dream having no idea how to manage this kind of project (That is a professional-ish grade music video), it isn't just "get a bunch of animators to do their thing", for instance there should be an ideation period (where people discuss what video idea suits the music), a storyboard, a review period, then your concepts for models and environments and tone, basically a bunch of stuff I don't think your average gaming YouTuber really knows (nor I imagine a bunch of amateur YouTube animators really practice (knowing your idea in your head really streamlines that process when you are working by yourself, doesn't work in groups)) which creates a project that people expect a 23M sub channel to produce nowadays.

Edit: checking it he does appear to have bunch of people accredited for all these things in his description; where the fuck did it go wrongggg

Thanks, I understand that. In the past I have led several different projects, not animation, but still. I know what it's like to work in a team.

I got the impression that Clayton wants to use small and unknown co-creators in his projects (including that speedrun competition) in order to create an image of a benefactor.
Because from time to time ong gives a "chance" to those who have little skills and appropriate education. In his avatar competition, all good and professional artists were often not even honored, while artists with extremely low skill levels received it.

I can assume that he chose for himself those artists and animators who had not had a career in this field before him.

for the next daily dream sperg trending twitter cancer, his painfully woke child followers are analyzing dream's message with his new music video "mask" and a scene showing him throwing away his "normal pills". trending term is "normal pills". 🧩 https://twitter.com/search?q="Normal Pills"&src=trend_click&vertical=trends

so half of his woke stans are supporting dream's really moving™ statement of throwing away these pills while the other half of woke assholes are concerned for the message it sends to his child followers. the rest of humanity is sending a resounding "didn't ask, don't care" much to the shock and dismay of the children.

my question is which adhd meds did he toss and is that why he is/was so obese? speed usually suppresses appetite.

Dream addressed this in a very understanding and not at all condescending statement.

Dream is really pulling a Boogie2988 here. In 3 years' time his Twitter feed is going to just be him suicide baiting and making fumbling apologies for saying something racist during a livestream.

Aight I see the optimistic reacts, lemme explain a little further.

I think Dream's apology for it is kind of inevitable because it resembles previous controversies. It came from a result of Dream's lack of understanding of wider online culture. Anyone familiar with wider online culture will know about the controversies that have arisen from self dx communities. It's also just a lack of understanding of conditions such as psychosis and how they function.

Important to remember is one of the symptoms of psychosis is feeling like messages in music or media are directly intended for you.

Dream's position that this is purely about his experiences in youth is a completely indefensible potion. By including things such as the doctor's note, and "normal pills", it explicitly becomes a commentary on approach to mental health in teenagers. Definitely something that captures the hearts of his fanbase, many of the most fanatical being mentally ill themselves. However, much of his fanbase is familar with controversies over self-dx or going off meds, and have likely formed an opinion on it. Dream quite clearly hasn't thought much about it beyond his own experience.

He'd have been better off calling them "feel like shit pills" or "insomnia nightmare pills", that would have more closely resembled a commentary accurately reflecting his experiences and highlighting the issues with ADHD medication, which is known for it's side effects leading to a lower rate of patient compliance. Watering this down to just "normal pills" is like building a strawman against yourself.

No doubt Dream will eventually realise this, either through it being explained to him, his own independant reading, or hell maybe even lurking this thread. Once he realises how and why he's being misunderstood, he'll feel he has to clear up what he meant, and apologise for defending the act of reducing his own life to a shoddy one-size-fits-all feel good narrative about how it's okay not to be normal while accidentally telling psychos to go off meds.

But I guess it all depends how tilted he still is.

Yeah, I'm still waiting on archive as well.

AAVE is African American Vernacular English. Basically black people speak. Tiktards have been calling people racist for "appropriating" AAVE in their sentence structure or just taking words. It's gotten to the point where non-black people apparently can't say "sis" or "bruh".

Incoming 'racism' drama. These posts all happened in the last 30 minutes or so:

...Hold up, isn't that the Armani that DestinytoMoon got involved with? :story:
Yes! Slight cow crossover, that's the same Armani from Jay and Destiny's thread. From what I noticed, Armani is constantly inserting herself in Twitter drama and when people tell her to shut up, she cries racism and shills her ko-fi link for reparations because being a black lesbian on Twitter is hard. :'( Tbh, Dream is better off ignoring Armani and not giving her any attention unless he wants to piss off black twitter. She doesn't have a ton of followers but whenever she gets into drama, it reaches every subtwt community.
