When the schedule autism is so strong that you’d rather spend half an hour complaining rather than just switching to a different gameThis has been going on for 25 minutes....
The only thing that will give you away is that mate talk. But I’ll be sure to write down this user name of highway to hell for future reference. Checkmate atheist!Mate to be fair I would, and likely will do just that when I'm bored simply to fuck with people. I mean look how much attention it gets. It takes a few minutes to make some throw away KF or Twitter account.
I'll make a name like HighwayToHell and call people mad because they're broke boys. People will say it's the same style of name as OIC and banging, I'm in mate.
I’m at your disposalNigel will play KGhaleon.
I'll play oic.
Now we need some others to play Jeremy May, Derich, and Rob On Wheels.
My favorite part of all this is he claims he’s rebuilding on YouTube, outside of whale tips everything about this dudes business looks washed up since the move lmaoMassive semantic ploy to start when discussing the potential end of Divinity.
"It was a viewer's choice playthrough." Sneaky transition to distance it from the fact that he is dropping something he promised. It stopped being a viewer's choice playthrough. What does this mean?
He's elaborating on that right now. So much has changed. He was on Twitch. And now he moved to YT to rebuild.
When this was nominated, he didn't realize what it was or how long it was. He does praise the playthrough, saying that he 'enjoys' that people picked this because it was a new experience for him.
But so much has changed. The game is insanely time intensive, and it isn't accessible to someone not knowledgable about that style of game. If it was a hot new release that people were into, he would have played it nonstop. Because the game is old, people have already experienced it. Some wanted to see him just be immersed, some wanted him to fail, some wanted him to succeed. Phil understands why people love the game, but he can't give it the time it needs because it isn't a new release. Phil's viewership has 'essentially said' they would much rather see anything else other than Divinity 2 (remember he told people to stop asking for it). People have said 'WE FORGIVE YOU IF YOU DROP THIS GAME'. They got what they wanted out of the playthrough. Phil is claiming viewers have said this in chat, repeatedly. Can anyone confirm if this has ever been spoken in chat? He feels he succeeded in what people wanted by just 'seeing what he was missing out there'.
This was 'supposed to be' a viewer's choice playthrough. I don't know what that is meant to mean and Phil doesn't elaborate. But he says he has done 60 hours and didn't realize there were 120 hour games out there. If someone had warned him, he would have taken 'some kind of executive action' here. Phil claims he said upfront with previous events that he can't take on long RPGs. Nobody wants to see it 10 hours a week, it'll 'kill his viewership'. Phil doesn't want to go back on the promise that he made to viewers, but the vast majority of viewers are asking to move on. Phil has resisted, not wanting to give up, but now he's not sure where to go or what to do. This is basically a 'perfect storm' for Phil. There's no time, and he can't make himself play this game when he knows he will enjoy others more. He just really doesn't care about this game anymore. There was a time when he did and he wanted to persevere (X). People are begging him for other things. He's so busy. Which is good! It means people like what he's doing, but it sucks for Divinity. The truth here (this is now the third 'truth') is that he isn't going to engage like people want him to. If he drops it, some people may be sad.
But here's the thing. The game won the viewers choice poll. But he played the second place from that poll to make up for the fact that he wasn't going to play Divinity right away - it was... Phil can't remember. His chat is 'delayed' (there's just nobody in it). But it was Neir: Automata, he thinks. Anyway, people also got a bonus playthrough and they loved it! We hit a MUNDANE subscriber number (what, 900 fucking subs, Phil?!) for this game and people got a bonus playthrough already! But this game doesn't fit him or his style! He would have vetoed it if he knew what it was! It's too much an investment! This is an insane, maximum stretch for Phil. Unless there is 'a fucking miracle tonight', this is the last hurrah tonight. He is damned if he does, damned if he doesn't. People told him to drop this game! They gave him permission! But he knows people were disappointed (yes this is a complete repeat of the earlier part).
This game put him into this situation. Tonight... he's not going to have fun! Less people will be upset by him quitting and not wasting streams. We are going to have a 'last hurrah scenario'. Maybe he'll be blown away and he'll recommit! But likely not. He's trying to be upfront and honest!
Someone said 'this was a viewers choice, but the viewers have stopped choosing it'. Phil loves this, he hadn't thought of it that way.
Someone suggests Hades, and Phil said he'll play it one day, but it doesn't matter right now.
Eternal Napalm tipped and said that people are asking for NV to go on hiatus to finish Divinity... but Phil says that people are so supportive of NV and they're engaged. So... money. Phil thanks him and dismisses him.
This is a meandering train wreck of explanation. It's been 40 minutes and there has been no gameplay. Grow a pair, say you hate it, that you don't care about the viewer's choice marathon you got 1000 subs for, tell your audience to fuck themselves. That'd be more respectable than this pussyfooting.
I'm also not expecting an OiC sock to tip on this one. OiC has stated that he wants Phil to stop playing the game. Phil likely knows that he isn't going to tip, so he might be willing to eat a low tip total to justify putting the playthrough out of its misery.
And after all this, he just did a serious beg, saying that tips were bad. He's at $11. So he mopes and cries all stream, he is going to drop this game, he already got paid a 'mundane' number of subs (still can't believe he gaslit that one)... and he still expects tips."I'm seriously gonna fall asleep playing this right now, my eyes are like drooping".
you know it wasnt him, right?An1337 is a faggot.
I didn't but I do now.you know it wasnt him, right?
