I feel like staining some pixels on everyones' monitors with my shitty thoughts and opinions since it's all the rage.
Coco is Coco and Kson isn't Coco. Kson is not a shitposting dragon of Hololive. Coco is. And in a month she'll be gone.
Holos are very talented streaming solo but the collab part is very important. Girls playing off each other, different generations having different dynamics, big production events and many other things make hololive experience what people came to like. A whole damn lot.
Coco had a lot of influence on her fellow coworkers. Feels like she gave them courage to express themselves more freely than they would have otherwise. And so far it worked wonders. Especially in capturing non-JP audience, since we are not that particular about idol stuff. On the contrary. She rarely went out her way to speak a lot of English in parallel to her Japanese, like Kiara(who might not have even existed if it weren't for Coco), but that was more than enough to attract a huge fucking audience and pave way for HoloEN. She can't take all credit for this, since a lot of other talents decided to pander to us. But then again, who was the most probable inspiration for JP girls to do so?
I wonder why Cover was so stubborn about putting limits on one of their most successful talent. I imagine if she were with Anycolor things would have been very different. And possibly Nijisanji wouldn't be lagging behind Hololive in English-speaking audience. Possibly even surpassing them.
But alas, we live in a timeline where mentioning a country can lead to such tragic and bullshit series of events that can grind up even the strongest individuals.
I wish the dumbest and most uncalled for china thing didn't happen and maybe Coco would have had enough spunk to stream for a year or two longer despite management trying to restrict her.
This month and probably a month after will be pretty hard. Watching Coco stream without counting days when she's gone forever is impossible.
Best of luck to her, and obviously keeping tabs on her general happenings will be a cinch solely due to a couple of individuals keeping everyone posted here. Unless this thread finally meets its doom at some point.
P.S. Frankly, I can't say I care much about watching chuubas' roommates. Kinda beats the whole purpose and charm of Vtubing. Without avatar girls aren't any different from your run of the mill twitch thots.
If you care about chuubas' roommates beyond sating your curiosity you are doing chuubas wrong.
