TGWTG Nostalgia Chick / Lindsay Ellis / TheDudette - aka Hotdogs in face girl

guess what triggered me was she gushes about faggot shit like rent but thinks WW/Charlie/Dahl are problematic and stupid.

just her white bread flat ass trying to sound more cultured.
Wait, she thinks Dahl is 'problematic' now?
I wonder if that has anything to do with her unfriending and unpersoning of Matilda.

Nah it's because Roald Dahl, an old man who not only fought in World War II, but fought in World War II with Ian Fleming and Christopher Lee as an IRL fucking Inglorious Basterd was a smidge politically incorrect.

His war record is irrelevant! Just like JK Rowling donating so much money that she lost her billionaire status! The only thing that matters is what they said, not what they did!

It's sad that we've lost the idea of "Actions speak louder than words" because the SJWs don't want to act.

Except they do act…when their undesirables get a business opportunity .

Eh, I don't really care how much money rich people give to Charities since pretty much all charities are either giant fucking scams to launder money (and other illegal shit like bribery) or run so inefficiently/incompetently that you would help those your donating to more indirectly through just putting that money in the market (be it through investments or simply buying shit). Its not an action worth celebrating since your just throwing money in a black hole to feel good about yourself for a day.

I do agree about the war hero stuff though. Actually going out and doing something that matters.

Companies who attach their names to charities.. probably 70/30 for donations.
My grandfather, who was a paratrooper into Germany on D-Day, had most of his squad killed, and hid under his best friend while Nazis stabbed bodies.. he gave probably 80% of his money to his best friends family.

His friends daughter became a lawyer, showing that Individual giving works more than donations to a company.

Remember back in December 2020 that EMT who was interviewed and revealed as an OnlyFans model in the New York Post? Yeah, he had some feelings on the matter:

But don't feel bad for the OF medic, she did a GoFundMe and raised over $100K to increase awareness of...something?...or do something legal or just pay her bills, it's a bit of a mess but if you read her description she's fucking mental.
Maybe he's scoping out a fellow hapa to date, except her dad's the asian one instead.
Seriously though, Todd himself probably has crippling oneitis with Lindsay, and he DESPERATELY needs to move on with her and her toxic clique.

It's funny to compare to his Rick Derringer OHW, one of his older videos which also covered a musician who developed Bad Opinions in later life.
At the end when he's doing his usual "did they deserve better" segment he explicitly states that he won't let the fact that Derringer became a naughty boy who liked Alex Jones to influence his opinion of his musical legacy. But that video came out in December 2017, so it's not surprising that somebody stewing in the middle of an increasingly stringent and intolerant far-left clique like Ellis' would become more of a judgmental asshole over time as well. Just another example of how his content is steadily becoming worse as he lets his increasingly hateful politics seep into all of his videos over time. Thank god he covered Informer almost a decade ago, god knows how bad that video would be if 2021 Todd made it.
Rick Derringer was not a one hit wonder either:

Funny thing, Todd mentioned that song in the "Did he ever do anything else?" section, and even said that most people know Real American more than his major hit.

As for "hits", I assume Todd is going by things like the Billboard charts (or at least the Top 40 or Top 100) and things like radio play and remembrance in his definition of a hit.

  • Agree
Reactions: TVB and Ninon42

Yeah that seems to be the case, as I remember in his Dexy's Midnight Runners OHW he acknowledged that they weren't really One Hit Wonders in the UK due to Geno also getting Number One in the charts and still receiving pretty respectful radio rotation. He judges it on an American basis.

His definition as to what a one hit wonder actually is is slippery and he's acknowledged it plenty of times. Off the top of my head:
Falco (Rock Me Amadeus) who had another Top 20 hit with Vienna Calling
Blue Swede (Hooked on a Feeling) who had a few other hits including a Top 10 hit with a cover of Never My Love
Midnight Oil (Beds Are Burning) who had plenty of success on the alternative charts
The Waitresses (I Know What Boys Like) who have a second song (Christmas Wrapping) that he says may be as famous nowadays as the hit
Mr. Big (To Be With You) who had one or two other songs crack the Top 40
Eddie Murphy (Party All the Time) based on that he was a OHW as a musician
a-Ha (Take on Me) who had another well-known song (The Sun Always Shines on TV) that is dwarfed by the big song

Again, to many, the definition of “hit” can be pretty vague.

Huh, so that's what the husband looks like. About what I expected. Did not know his name was Nick though. It's fitting. And I guess he's related to Paw or Elisa, because after scrolling down past where her comment cut off, she says Elisa is now her sister in law.

Sniff. Sniff. I can smell the soy from here.

That's the face of a man who has just realized something went horribly wrong.

That's the look of a man who didn't get to touch his newlywed wife on their honeymoon, forced to watch her get railed by a different male staff member at the resort each night.

That look in his face. That's beautiful. Reminds me of this Kevin "Bloody" Wilson classic.
