They have 2x the subs and views as Niji's other overseas projects.

It's not like NijiEN is doing badly. Hololive EN specifically blew up because non-Japanese viewers had seen the Japanese streams already and then moved to EN (that or they jumped over because of Senzawa). NijiEN doesn't have that kind of base built already. Considering their sub counts though, their progress is already quite impressive.

Plus I like the autistic fish girl and want to (lovingly) bully her.

No point in comparing them with Hololive's stronger fan interconnectivity (as in a Haachama fan will just as likely be subscribed to Ina as opposed to a Sister Claire fan knowing who Finara is). They're growing just fine naturally on their own, far more than they would have had they continued to operate as indies, and will likely earn their silver button within the next couple of months if not weeks.

Maybe it’s one of those "unfulfilled dreams" she talked about, but there’s no way that’s one of the creative differences that made her leave. At best, she planted the seeds and showed management that there's interest from the fans in HoloES, but nothing decisive.

One thing I noticed. Coco seems to fully plan to return to the stage with Hololive Members in some shape of form. She said she'll keep her promise with Sora to share the stage, even if she have to take a long detour. She said she'll become a super idol and come back to see Luna again. Would be so nice if a few year from now we got to see Kson next model dancing on the stage with the 4th gen again.

I just see no reason Cover would get sand in their vag over her appearing in some form or another if she so desired. Even if she wasn't under contract and they couldn't gain monetarily because of her, but could through who she collabed with.
Not to mention it would help their image, which is very important in Japanese society. You didn't lose your favorite because of "us" she chose to leave and now she's honoring us.

She has massive leverage, this isn't me coping, as I will follow her IRL streaming, but Coco as a character may not be as dead as we think.

The only people in recent memory that is taboo to be spoken about by others in the same company is Monoe and maybe Kaoru in Holostars, but those are special instances - Monoe was fired because of breaking their contract and Kaoru had a contract dispute

Aloe is being spoken with love and respect mostly by Gen5, but it is clear that Delutaya wants to move on from Aloe

For a while now after Coco's announcement, I've been entertaining a certain line of thinking... and after seeing the clips with Sora and Luna, I can't help but think her return to Hololive is a definite possibility.

Imagine this: Coco/Kson goes off into the wilderness for a year or so. She's doing everything she wants to do that Cover won't let her. And then, bam, Cover has a special announcement to make. Someone's coming back...
