I wonder if anyone still reads To Kill a Mockingbird in school because that book profoundly addresses the idea of good aspects in people with detestable beliefs.

One of my favorite chapters is Miss Dubose. I won't totally spoil it for you but basically Miss Dubose is viciously racist (like in a really nasty way but she is also an extremely brave woman that Atticus directly calls her a great woman.

It's so totally different than how people think nowadays, where one problematic view a lot less awful than being horribly racist such as having voted for Trump (something 73 million Americans did) wipes out everything else you did. Unlike Atticus, they can't see someone as being "racist" or "homophobic" and also a "great person." The result is everyone is starting to turn into a future John Brown but without scriptures to follow, rather just the every changing standards of the woke mob. Everyone who doesn't agree exactly is an evil that has to be extinguished. You'll even notice it in books and movies. They'll indicate a character is okay to be killed brutally by having them make a racist or homophobic comment.

My point being, I hope some of these people realize while trying to attack Scott, who is basically Ned Flanders as a game developer, that Scott is a good man with views they think are horrible and that's okay and he doesn't need to be destroyed and they can even think positively of him as a whole.

I always found the ban funny. They ban the book because of the word nigger and cite that it makes kids uncomfortable. But, that's the whole point. You aren't supposed to feel fine when Atticus is called a nigger-lover or when Mr Ewell starts calling Tom Robinson's wife a nigger whenever she passes his house. The ban also depends on the school and the school district, it's not a nationwide ban.

Question: Why didn't Cawthon keep quiet about his political opinions when he knows it has absolutely nothing to do with FNaF?

I get that he got caught donating to political opponents of SJWs, but I don't think it was wise of him to make his political preferences publically known in a time of political unrest, especially if the audience of your product is overwhelmingly made up of SJWs.

Then why didn't he just keep quiet about it after he got found out? I don't think I understand what he was trying to get out of telling his audience to go fuck themselves when he knows how unstable SJWs can be.
