It's about a girl who rents out porn movies then gets stalked by an employee at the store. She has some pretty bad psychological problems and the guy is... a less rapey Derich, but still pretty bad. There's a trailer. Don't watch it. The movie is not like that. The trailer and stupid comments make it out to be some lighthearted comedy. It's somewhat darker.

It's not an amazing film, but watch it and tell me that isn't Phil and Khet:

Dude DSP takes her out for 1 day a week and spent their honey moon money on wrestling jpegs... She got married in a used dress in Phils parents house without a single guest from her family. Phil's controlling the shit out of her.

I can't prove it, obviously this is speculation but Phils hiding his income from her. I don't see how she's ok with him spending 50%+ of his income on a mobile game while saying he's too poor to take more than 1 day a week off to spend time with her. They don't even have occasional weekends away.

I can't see Phil letting her have friends outside of the house (who will look after the self sustaining cat child?), they don't have sex, they don't do anything together other than talk for an hour after her shift... And even then what would the conversation be? Phil updating her on what happened on stream and her telling Phil about the shelves she packed?

The only reason she is there is a lack of self worth and low self esteem. No sane and rational person would put up with this, she must know phil gets paid $400 a day... How does she not put 1+1 together and work it all out?

As someone said about deleting her media presence, though, Phil controlling her, and her being a sensible human being (At least regarding the situation she is is), are two virtually indistinguishable situations.

Like, seriously, say you hitched yourself to D.S.P. in a loveless (At least on your end) marriage so you could get a roof over your head and food for free (And maybe consoles and stuff ? Wouldn't surprise me) all while only working a part-time job and keeping all the money it brings for yourself. I'm not going to say it is necessarily a great plan, but say you did do that. Would you really want to spend more time with him ? Would you really take this whole marriage thing seriously ?

I think I'd want to interact with him as little as possible, not have social media only to be harassed about it (And probably exposing who she is married to to anyone she would add on social media, unlike now where she can somewhat control the narrative offline), and not put any effort into this sham marriage. And I probably wouldn't care how much he spends on his sweaty men Jpeg so long as he keeps his end of our arrangement.

This is my assumption, no women her age can live without social media. They are completely hooked on the attention. I believe Horsey probably does have social media under different names. Social media can be pretty invasive but it's not hard to hide your identity to all but a few people. I'm actually Bill Clinton, but I hide it well.

Phil's very aware that the tractors are very aware of his tip goal supposedly coming down once the youtube money kicks in, so it's very possible he will lower it for a short time to own the trolls. After that brief taste of 400 a day it's unlikely it'll be back to normal for long though, and as for his begging angle, I'm going with:

I agree she probably doesn't have much of a social life, and definitely that she isn't right in the head. But, we don't actually know she doesn't have any semblance of a social life. A lot of the "what does Khet do" info comes from DSP, who is just about the most unreliable source of information imaginable. Remember how many times he insisted Khet was busy at work during the week, even after we discovered she works part time on the weekends.

Khet doesn't strike me as the type to really go out and socialize, but I don't think it's because she's tethered to Phil or anything. If she wanted to go out, I'm not sure Phil would even notice until it was time to order dinner. And even if he objected, Phil is way too much of a pussy to do anything about it.

I also don't think the social media embargo is a Phil thing. In the early days, Phil tried to post the odd picture of Khet or whatever. He wants to brag about her, but it seems like she's the one who doesn't want him doing that. I don't think Khet is particularly intelligent, but even she recognizes that, Phil has a ton of detractors who will openly shit on her the moment they get an opportunity. Unlike Phil, she is just smart enough to recognize that, maybe if you want to go incognito on the internet, you shouldn't use the same username/email that contains your name in it.

I don't she's as plain stupid as Phil but if your grift involves eating off paper plates on thanksgiving it's clear she's the sort of type to swindle the lowest hanging fruit. Nonetheless, she seems to work a lot of nights, is out for halloween and is otherwise unacccounted for aside from Phil's day off so more than likely she is doing what / who she wants. Phil is such a doormat that it's unlikely he'd stand up to her and eats his turkeydogs like a good boy.

He runs into the same persistent issue that he has in the rest of his life: ego; he can't accept that he has an (below)average wife and he lives an (below) average life. PPB is everything that ignorant people would deem American exceptionalism; he skates by for 40 years, gets rewarded for skating by, much like a warrant officer.
