He has to be careful with these E3 takes because, much like award ceremonies for films or music, the point is quickly becoming just as much about promoting diversity and rainbow politics as it is about the medium it relates to. Like the drag queen post above, this is what E3 is becoming more and more about.

So for a fat white human male slug maybe it's "no longer pertinent" but to the people he's simultaneously trying to pander to with all his all-of-a-sudden progressive positions and LGBTQ+ slideshow welcomes this is new ground they're slowly conquering. He's not really the demographic to decide what is or isn't pertinent anymore, and so whether you agree with it or not, E3 is actually becoming more culturally relevant as it focuses on representation in gaming.

DSP's messaging is so fucking mixed. He'll call all these things in the industry irrelevant but then suck SBM's dick when he gets his guidance cane in the door, or talk about how his streams are safe-spaces for queer people, while he also says E3 is "no longer pertinent" as E3 itself chases diversity relevance. Imagine one day SBM is on stage at E3 for whatever reason, it's going to be the PS5 box of rocks thing all over again; "WOW BRANDON THAT'S AMAZING!!!!!" and a Tweet later "Heh man E3 is so irrelevant, fucking morahns."

As boorish a person as he used to be, at least you kinda knew where he stood on certain things. Now he's just a clusterfuck of cluelessness and shillery.

E3 is an opportunity for #realgamers to see what publishers and developers are invested in, what they're focusing on, and what they think is important.. which is what sells, what's easy to sell, and what the market "wants", devs aren't taking risks anymore

so I guess we can say it was either good or bad based on: (not necessarily the specific announcements of, but just the prominence of)
  • mobile games
  • remakes
  • trans-niggas and sjw pandering
it's kinda hard to exclude announcements and cringe when it's a giant #AD for whats releasing in the next 8-24 months

as for why dave thinks it's bad? he wasn't invited and super street fighter 2 turbo neo geo ps1 port isn't being re-made

but I think the real reason why dave will shit on it, is cause he struggled to see much activity about it on his twitter feed, that's how he gauges whether or not something is successful, he's just a parrot for whatever shit takes are happening on the twitter #trending page

I know I'm a bit late to the discussion, but regarding Khet not having social media because Dave told her so - I doubt it. I'm in the camp that thinks that she most likely has alternate accounts for her social media or at worst just chat apps she uses to talk to whatever friends she has. I never had social media myself (at least none that weren't for the purpose of trolling) but I always had chat apps to talk to people in my life. It would seem really weird for her to let herself be controlled like that and not have any way to talk to other people, especially since I'm also sure that she has Phil's balls in her purse. From what we've seen from the last days of his relationship with Panda, he let her live with some other dood (don't remember if it was the twink roommate even back then) and use Dave's car for anything she needed as long as she came home and cleaned up his house and cooked him dinner. He doesn't want to go through the terror that he felt when he was alone like having to perform the washing of the dishes or the washing of the laundry, so he's probably a complete doormat to Khet in my opinion.

That's at least my two cents on the issue.

Speaking of 'giving back to the community', I was looking into the Fallout 4 wedding saga, and stumbled upon this little gem:


DSP giving away a full season's pass for Fallout 4 for the Playstation 4 version. You might ask yourself: holy shit, why did he do that? Was it to give back to his 'community'?

If you want the short answer, skip to 14:51. 'The code has no value to me'. There it is. He had already bought the season's pass and got one for free from Bethesda for the PS4, while he had the Xbox version of Fallout 4. Phil gives absolutely nothing to anyone, unless he can't and never will be able to use it himself.

Oh man, its a great story. One night he was so drunk, he sent a pic of a desk with the message "pa". Everyone called out that he was blackout drunk and was laughing at him...

But he never admitted it. He said it was part of something, a surprise. So the next 2 days he was tweeting more letters, like it will come to something... But 3 days later, never mentioned it again. It led to nothing and he just pretended it never happened.

This is how far he willing to go with the lying just so he doesnt have to admit taking an L.

I said something in DSPs chat awhile back about he is always yawning, but still Tweeting at people all night long. He told me I was an idiot, and that he actually doesn't stay up late anymore. Yet he continues to consistently Tweet at trolls until 2-3 AM his time, at least a few times a week.

His fanbase has dwindled so much that he doesn't even have to try to cover his lies, or watch what he says. He can say whatever he wants, and they'll listen, even if it's something as stupid/easy to prove as having tons of tweets in the middle of the night.

Fyi and not to powerlevel here but I worked with child services and hospitals, and got a therapy degree. And I can tell you Phils defintion of a family unit is wrong but my definition is spot on based on online results and studying this for years.

Where's the lie? He said that he doesn't stay up late, 2-3AM is the EARLY HOURS so he stays up early! DEBUNKED!
