I just hope they don't try to get protective over the idea of magic embedded stones cause that shit is a very common species trope even years before Steven Universe made it popular. But if they do, it'll make for entertainment.

Rosenfrills is just a side account for adoptables; the artist is known as Pandsky on FA, and they've very recently purged their character art/stories off the internet for some reason. Not that there was much to read; it was typical fantasy princess being kept as a slave bride by a warlord with beauty and the beast vibes and preggo fetish energy.

Their main character is shipped with some buff wolf dude who seems to be run by Pandsky's partner. There was another account for their mascot OC, Miorjah, but it's since been deleted; collectively both accounts had dozens of commissions between them.

Of note was one commission they got from XenoForge on the wolf dude's character profile;

Note the credit and the comment at the bottom of the text dump. If you hate an artist that much based on their political views then why the fuck even keep the work in your gallery to advertise for them? Seems like petty virtue signaling to me.

They also have a commission from popular dragon incest artist WhiteMantis/Amaranth Dench in their gallery, so I guess we know where their priorities are at. The mention that the licorne species is made by "saving the dragons from extinction" via hybridizing them with another species reminds me a lot of WM's original concept stuff for their Timeless series as well.

They aren't subtle about it either despite DFE'ing every time someone calls them out on it, so why the fuck Pandsky or their partner would commission someone who is openly supporting zoophiles, only to pull a 180 about them being a MAGA is anyone's guess. I've noticed a trend with over-the-top closed sparkle species. They're always created by.. women. Well, girls, probably. The kind who uses a ton of color tags and ASCII on their profiles. Has some random poetic set of lyrics on their profile. I've been around furries for long enough to know that an OC is made up of three things: Species, colors, and fetishes. Big dick? Big dick on a neon colored fox. Done deal.

Closed species? Always has so many fucking details to make up for the fact the idea isn't good on its own. It's like seeing people beg for a new class in an mmorpg, except it's "this existing class but 20% different". It's never such an iconic and innovative idea that you question why it wasn't done earlier. Even those protogen things are just sergals with space helmets, but I guess the fandom lacks any real "robot" species, so at least it fits that niche however uncreative it is.

So you get these monstrosities that are impossible for any other artist to draw. There really just is something to the artist who dabble in these adoptables more than any normal commissioning art, and it's always all about details that don't matter in the grand scope of things, and some kind of ego-trip about the whole affair. ToS and what not, instead of "here, you bought this, use it for whatever".

My exposure to women in the fandom has been limited, but dear lord are they clockable from miles away when you're talking OC design.

It's odd that sometimes, people with the most cutesy artstyle's drowned in pastel colors are the most abhorrent individuals. Very rude and stuck-up sorts of people, and in my experience--they're usually women. This particular one a few post up is odd, mostly because it's name implies it's just a hybrid of two species with some fancy trim. ANYONE could come up with something like that.

IIRC backlash over protogens caused a few people to make their own species of robots that were free to use and looked decidedly less dumb. I think they were called Synths?

I wonder if people who own expensive closed species get miffed about people who have normal OC's with real species. Judgmental and high-horsed. I wouldn't know 'cause I tend to not interact with them. Most of them seem like kids or young adults who are irresponsible with money, anyway.

Look at girl toys form the 80s and 90s it's the same thing but closed species crank it up to 11. It was all about accessories (sold separately) and bright colors. A lot of times the theme was a doll with X added.



At least kids had a cheap plastic toy to play with for a bit. People that get scammed by closed species have it worse, they have pixels that the artist can take away if they feel bad that day. Now instead of a kid being sad because the doll they bought for $20 isn't as fun as the commercial said it was, you have young adults or teens wasting hundreds of dollars on an over done drawing of a dog that looks like a cupcake.

Yes, no, and kinda.

Back around Feb-March she booted up the toyhouse that csvent and toyhouse-dramas (respectively unsearchable and defunct, so I can't find the OG posts, sorry) had found prior. I believe this account is not visible to guests, so you need an account to snoop.

Then came an apology bulletin that is now deleted.

After deleting that bulletin, she went on to her usual business of pumping out $100+ designs. She's still doing it now.

From what I can tell, she is indeed still involved in CS; the new site for Dainties lets you search by who owns or designs them, and sure enough, she has her own collection intact.

Old ex friend of Mortician here. I made an account just to add on what I find crazy in it’s mix in in this drama is that as stated here (not even bringing up their wrongs or their accusations at that) it is completely leaving off everything but discord and deleting everything so it can’t come back and rebrand. Well actually it did the complete opposite. It literally ran away from everything and their problems and rebranded as a complete new person as if people who didn’t used to know it wouldn’t recognize it.

Before the drama it was and still is an active Facebook user that went by ‘CULT’ (as the acc is gone now I can’t include screencaps) . There it had its relationship status but didn’t post much about its s.o which makes sense to me now given you guys said they were 19; All in all this post is just a conclusion to them to the degree that yes he completely ran away from his problems and almost completely changed his identity and art style.

Not only does he have the same kins (recognizably Hello Kitty, Steve Harrington, Chi, Lawliet, etc.) He only has 2 other set friends and ‘isint comfortable making new friends’

In conclusion this drama just goes to show why me and a set group of others dropped him (as he’s done the accused to us too) and him just lying and being completely fake is just so annoying and disappointing, this is who and where he is now in the end.

New Chimereons salt? I don't know if it was ever discussed here, but I remember the one time where they sold recoloured bases and there were some repeat sales, so people flipped lids. I also remember there being drama when Seel was 17 and drawing promiscuous content and people just couldn't handle it. LOL.
