I wouldn't even want to have a brief conversation with any of these people let alone listen to their opinion on what is probably my main hobby and yet they are considered some of the top movers and shakers in said hobby.

Apparently she interviewed Shaun Murray, the No Mans Sky guy. She says she got access to looking at their procedural generation tech and says it's "sad" how the game failed as it did at first. If what she says is true, how could you not tell immediatelty that their tech was way less than half baked? None of these people understand the technical side of game dev at all anymore.

i cried when advance wars showed up. i thought for sure the series was dead and forgotten.

I wish it was a new game and not remakes but it's still cool to have the franchise back at all.

And it'll be fun playing the non-story mode maps as well as multiplayer, the question is whether it would have online multiplayer.

Devolver started doing conferences that are big comedy sketches that parody the game industry, and have continuity from year to year, alongside actual announcements.

Gotta say, really loving Sam's suit in Dread. I'm also really curious what role the rogue Chozo will play.

I'm still fucking floored that Metroid Dread got announced. I remember being hyped about Metroid Dread in my teens.

It doesn't even matter if we stop buying games at this stage.

The industry currently makes most of its money off of consoomer hype-beats who will shell out any amount of money for the latest $100 special edition of Mediocre Game V3.0 so that they can play it for 20 minutes in their Funko room before they post another photo of their LED and display case riddled "set up" to r/gaming.

They'll be day one on any and all DLC as well because they can't countenance FOMO for one second even if they've only booted up the game a handful of times.

As a top tip, if any of ninty's titles have shitty framerates on release, download a copy of RyujinX and set it up to play games at 60fps. It's the next best thing to a full PC release.
