18-44 is a HUGE group. The stats for under 30s and under 40s are going to look a lot different than the 40-44 year olds. It is not a useful way to stratify the data.If you are between the ages of 18 and 44 you make up 3.9%... of all covid deaths. With a total death percentage of 1.8, that means they make up approximately 0.07% of deaths. Which IS still higher than the vaccine death rate but at this point, we are in so low of rates for both that I don't see much of a point.
ANYWAY. The biggest risk is obesity. It is really rare for a young person to get hospitalized with covid without being obese. The ones that aren't obese tend to have serious pre existing health conditions.
