Fuck off with this one. Pretty much all societies have had different rules for girls and boys in most life areas. Different names, different rituals, different education, different clothes, different ways to become adults and different taboos. You can find all of these all over the world trough out history. Sure babies might get fairly even treatment and there were ways for the "wrong" gendered person pick up slag but overall most societies had treated the genders very differently.

Also most didn't look gays or crossdressing favorably. Even those allowed them in some form, considered them shameful, humorous or wierd.

If I was in a relationship with a man and he had a horrible industrial accident and then had to get a neophallus put on, then sure if I really loved him I might try to make it work. Same thing with being in a relationship with a man and him developing horrible depression.

I'm not going to choose to get into a relationship with someone who had terrible depression, I think it'd be a good idea for me to try and find someone else. Likewise if I had met a guy and he revealed he had a neophallus, well nah I'm good thanks, I know that I'm not into neophalluses so why would I choose to get into a relationship with someone who had one?

Like fuck, how many different toys do kids have no versus like 70 years ago?

2) Has Billy been in a kids toy store? I haven't been in a Toys R Us in over a decade or so, but they have entire sections of "gender"-neutral toys like Legos, video games, sports/activity stuff, those natgeo/discovery science experiment kits, miscellaneous shit like yo-yo's and bouncy balls, etc. etc.

But that's not what he's really on about.
What he's on about is that he want's little boys having tea parties in frilly dresses because that's what gets him off.

Exactly, the argument that psychologist made basically leads to Labelle’s line of reasoning that a boy who likes playing with a doll or enjoys wearing a skirt means he probably identifies as a girl (Even if he doesn’t realise it yet) and should be given hormone blockers ASAP.

If nothing was gendered and all genders were treated the same then why would Sophie, a non dysphoric trans individual even want to be seen as female at all?

For someone who claims to be a woman, he has no idea what the lives of women have been like.

Powerlevel but my mom came up during the 1950s and the girls were expected to do all the cleaning and all the dishes while the boys were expected to keep the yard tidy, AKA mow the lawn once a week and rake leaves in the fall. My mom was a smart girl so she was pushed towards such varied careers as teaching elementary school and becoming a nurse. Instead, she went to the same college as her brothers, but while her father paid for her brothers to go, she had to work her way through school.

She had friends who came up in traditional households where the women were expected to serve the men at dinner.

Women in the 1960s weren't allowed to have their own bank accounts, they couldn't have their own credit, and they didn't have women's sports. It was considered completely reasonable to pay a woman less than a man because a man needed to support a family on his wages. I have another friend who has a professional job and her grandmother said she was taking a job away from a man.

There are still millions of girls in the US who are being raised to be wives and mothers.

Ugh, I want to cockpunch this asshole.
