Social Justice Warriors - Now With Less Feminism Sperging

I think you might be looking too deep into it. Most of these people are retarded teenagers/students who have no concept of what their actions mean down the road. The "adults" who cynically exploit this line of thinking are also not thinking ahead more than what using this shit means for their brand or bottom line
They're like crackheads trying to get a hit of that internet asspat dopamine, not realizing that each hit is slowly rotting their brain. Crack is probably less harmful and easier to get off of than insane sjw ideology.

Curious for all you fine kiwis here, when did you first notice the weird virtue signalling trend? Where you realized people cared more about other people perceiving them as good/woke/caring etc than they did about the actual issue they were posting.

For me it was Kony 2012. Tons of people outta the blue saying we have to stop Kony he is so terrible, and lambasting people for not sharing the Kony posts. Then the guy who started it did some meth and jerked off in the streets and it all went away. Its nearly a decade later and I'm still waiting for all these fucking fags to actually do something about Kony. I suppose they all moved onto the next flavour of the week and about 468 weeks later here we are. What week is it? Ireland week still?

I noticed it before Kony.

My cousin was acting like an insufferable SJW during Occupy, he was a proto SJW by today's standards.

These takes are some of the single most annoying to me. I may be a jaded cynic or whatever but I believe all things equal humans are only as good as the law and punishment around them. Most aren't immoral per se, but they generally don't have a concept of not doing bad things because they're bad but rather because they don't want to get in trouble.

This attitude removes the risk of penalties to a certain demographic and the natural response is for them to start doing things they wouldn't if it risked punishment. Seriously, stop trying to pretend humans are great. The only reason their concept of colonism could even have happened is that humans are willing to conquer others if they are able.

The idea that is racially based is not only naive but denies the histories of various tribes fucking each other every time they met across continents, from Africa to North to South America.

Edit: I mean, if I'm remembering right the Zulus of Africa had the illustrious honor of being the only known group that actively hunted other human beings for sport and not with war as the primary intention until the anthropologist who wrote about it got canceled. Aztecs were amazingly violent and enjoyed sacrificing hearts of the conquered to their sun god. And the North American Natives hated each other in general and constantly stole land from one another.

Not posting about, but definitely having a cause they wanted to beat others with to make themselves look good when they were actually shitty people?

The 80's. It had been going on since the 60's though.

Those people who wore Kony 2012 merch are probably the same people who posted a black square on Instagram on June 2, 2020.

In the 90's when it was the religious right going after my copy of Mortal Kombat to protect the kids.

1995: Seinfeld, The Sponge

"Who? Who will not wear the ribbon?"

OR

1993 Seinfeld, The Outing

"Not that there's anything wrong with that."

Honestly, it's an inversion of Mrs. Grundy. Rather than nosing in on other peoples' business and passing judgement, today's breed actively demands others pay attention to what should be their personal business and pass judgement on those who refuse.

I've noticed the irony that the more the cult of woke tries to shove woke into everything, the less tolerant people can get of LGBTQ people and ethnic diversity, because they're sick of endless preaching.

Which of course could be by design: to try to keep the "little people" even more divided and conquered.
Why do you think it's multinational megacorporations who are pushing this shit despite the fact it costs them billions?
So they're advertising that they're a shitty university and you should avoid hiring their alumni. They'll refuse to show up to work on the grounds their trauma at being wogs means they shouldn't have to work and should get paychecks anyway.

It's not enough to have a federal holiday, but only one race is allowed to have the day off. That's like having St. Patrick's Day being prohibited for anybody to celebrate but Irish. No green for Black folks!
Funny enough, the same people happy about Juneteenth becoming a federal holiday are the same people who call Columbus Day "a racist and white supremacist holiday."
